these are two different things that are not mutually exclusive. If you don't tie your life to things or people, you will simply be happier in the long run. This does not prevent you from living your life for others and you still have a goal that is not one that depends on people or things.

Yes, i like that quote too. But be careful not to avoid big problems while being optimistic. True optimistism isn't seeing negative things as positive, it is when you see a problem you come up with an optimistic solution immediately (or it may take a while). If you solve problems, you make the world a better place.

But for myself, as an optimist I look very different to problems. I don't have to avoid problems, because I have no problems. I accept all situations, as they are. Im thinking that time had something to do with those quotes maybe early on in his life he said the first one and much later on he realized that it is people that matter most. still so confused but I was pondering the same thing. If einstien dont make sense we are in a world of shit. lol

Happieness and being worthwhile aren't the same thing, he could also be talking about that you can have a goal of helping everyone but, not a specific person.

Great quotes, I especially like the quote "The only sure way to avoid making mistakes is to have no new ideas" Just as well I only think I have simple innovations and I've definitely tried avoiding being mistaken. I can also explain it very simply that I've been using my own electronic antibiotics and nanomaterials which I know have quantum mechanical properties. :-)

i get wisdom from just being alive (worked really well, bit weird that i seem wiser than anyone i know) and i cant learn it from the silliness of others because they are just so annoying for me because i already know all of it!!!!!

That was back in day when there was no google i think it was so not to run out of storage for the must know stuff Nowdays I think it would be to memorize the important stuff and leave the other stuff to Google. To free up storage for the valuable stuff.
