    i had my suspicions about where you live from the very beginning, and those suspicions got confirmed when i saw the Ukrainian chips 😂 people in the comments are unnecessarily mean, in my opinion. with the limited options that people in distant regions or with small budget have, i can see why you would want to make the basic food products into something more fun. everyone in the comments needs to chill out. i enjoyed the video, it was fun to watch! the hack about separating eggs was very nice, i'm gonna try that.

    Some of these life hack videos should be entered into the Darwin Awards, especially ones that deal with cooking. Cooking doesn’t need a hack per se, cooking is already totally hacked. Suggesting that people pour a hot liquid into a Nutella jar and then tightly closing the lid and shaking it without the traditional disclaimer, "don't try this at home", is just insane to me. One of the worst accidents I witnessed during my 30 years of professional cooking was watching the top blow off of a blender that had hot curry sauce with pears in it. Simply putting a tight fitting lid on anything that is liquefied and hot, whether you intend to shake/blend it or not, is just asking for trouble. Common sense is not necessarily common.

    I found this very helpful, thank you. Some of the tips could have used a bit of explanation/detail regarding liquids/oils/ingredients/seasoning/cooking temps & times. Also maybe include alternatives (like you did with the ez cut egg but also strawberries and mushrooms). Anyhow, it taught me plenty of new ideas I had not been privy to while learning to cook growing up that I will be using. Eggs can be a tricky thing, with so many ways to incorporate and use them, it is good to pick up pointers -- so I thank you! I will certainly check out other videos in the near future on your channel.

    How are these hacks? Any short cuts to an end or time saving ideas? These are just foodie ideas. How is scraping the skin off a carrot with a scouring pad any sort of hack? A hand held peeler would do the job in probably less time AND you'd be able to use that peeler again... the scouring pad? Possibly if you spend 5 minutes picking the carrot skin out of it! Your answer to filling a ham sandwich neatly...use two slices instead of one GENIUS !!

  • @whintx76

    @whintx76

    4 жыл бұрын

    I can’t believe I’m defending this video... but a “hack” is often an ‘alternative’- like what they show if you DON’T have a peeler. And the sandwich “hack” is showing how to get the (round) bologna (or ham, etc.) in every bite of your (square) sandwich... (cuz their way covers ALL the bread...)
