You all made my LIFE! I am a solar panel. The respect for wildlife, flamingo feeding, and teal ocean, oh and whales! Holy sea turtle batman! Air that's breathable! Thank you fam! Mahalo! Best fruit ever!

It should be noted that there are some places in Lahaina that survived and are open again! Mala Ocean Tavern, Old Lahaina Luau (Reopening March 12), the Lahaina Cannery Mall, and others are open and could use the support.

I just came back from Maui. Nothing replaces Lahaina. Yes, there are other places to go to, things to see and nature is amazing. This was my 15th time there. Lahaina was the heart of Maui. No heart left. It felt really different.

I have been a number of times but not since the fire. With so many restaurants gone…Kimos, Lahaina Grill, Fleetwoods…we always stayed at Westin Hyatt or Sheraton…and went into Lahaina for dinner…maybe Whalers village the day we arrived….where do you go now?

@@camsak8713 last time I was there, 2 months ago, I stayed on the west side of the island, a house, in Kula. That side is still wonderful.

The Kapalua Resort used to offer a free shuttle, with reservations, to the top of their Mahana Ridge Trail, but I see now that it is a 20-mile roundtrip hike. It was difficult enough just going downhill for 10 miles into the heat.

I adore Kaanapali, Napili and Kapalua. Fab video. My heart is with everyone impacted by the fire. Horrific. Much care.

Saw you guys and your beautiful family in Waikiki this past week while I was on vacation! I was too nervous to say hi to you guys but I just wanted to say I’m soo thankful for your videos! They helped soo much during my vacation !

100% recommend that snorkel store. Lisa there was fantastic and knowledgeable. Also, Sail Maui is an amazing team for a catamaran trip. During the fire aftermath they turned 100% to relief transportation and relied on go fund me to be able to do it without charging people.

Thanks for sharing! It was great to see the tour boats helping with the relief effort. It really showed the strong community in West Maui.

You don’t have to wait in line at the Gazebo Restaurant. Walk up to the front of the line and order to go. Sit at the tables by the pool or sit on the wall and watch enjoy the view.

Highly recommend the Alii Maui Outriggers in Ka'anapali. We go to West Maui yearly and wouldn't miss it!

i went to kauai in may of 2022 and yall were such great help! going to maui in the end of April and u guys are helping a lot! :) was gonna go to maui in may of 2020 but that was cancelled due to obvious reasons. Glad im having a redemption trip. Plus im staying for a week this time, kauai we only did 3 days.

Hi. Love your videos and guides! Planning to go to Maui in June after visiting Kauai. Really struggling with where to stay. Looking at West Maui but am a bit reluctant as we don’t want to be a burden to the community there after the fires, don’t want to come across as a ‘disaster tourist’ (not sure if that is the right term in English) and to be completely honest just want to make sure we don’t get depressed… what would you advice West Maui or Kihei? We have 3 teenage boys, we are looking for a Maui beach with some good surf for boogie boarding. We’re not talking world class 20 foot professional surfer waves, but something that you can get a nice boogie board ride. Any suggestions??

Only if you stay at Kaanapali Beach Resort. Unless another hotel does it. The cannery might but it’s partially open and Outlets of Maui were destroyed.

Like to see ur video on Maui it is very interesting, informative and details....good job and hard work too...by the way, I will be going to Maui and stay atSands of Kahana for 7 days, any place you recommend us must go to see and eat nearby ? We own at Sands of Kahana and go every other year for two weeks. The beach House bar, at the sands, is actually very good. Dollys is across the street, and Maui brewing is a couple blocks away. Have had good food at all three, and all are walking distance.

We like it too for those reasons. I lived by an Island Gourmet (fancy ABC store) in Ko Olina. It was convenient but way too much chicken katsu and loco moco for any human.

Right now, it's been cold for the past week in Maui😢
