those popping sounds when off the throttle is such an iconic but annoying sound from VAG cars these days. i don't get why anyone likes them.

I was about to say too much power for a DQ200 then saw it was a manual 😄 The pops sound so fake and a little annoying like something is broken😅

Maybe I'm an old man, but one thing bothers me - does all that exhaust banging affect longevity? Weeks ago I was passed (on UK motorway) by a BMW M4 doing exactly the speed limit in traffic and every time the driver eased off (so every five seconds), it was POP POP POP BANG POP POP. What a prat.

@@Braendvarm and why would they care, they sell the car in less than 2 years anyway. So it’s the person that buys it afterwards that is screwed with all the stuff that was done to the car. Seen it before, a car being sold with stock parts and tune, not a word about all the shit that was done to it before. And acting like it was maintained by a real carguy…. Afterwards I saw the car in a local garage and apparently it had a lot of issues, many things were extremely worn already and the car was only 3 years old with 25.000km… The guy at the garage said that the average car with well over 150.000km looks much better…

It’s very bumpy, because the owner has lowered it. But in my opinion the owner has really ruined this car.

you should definitely try a dsg variant of this platform. maybe even a dq250 swapped one, tvs has done a bunch of them. is38, dq250 and an lsd: perfect build.

its leftover fuel burning in the exhaust pipe. they program the engine so it produces these sounds because people think it sounds more sporty. its pretty dumb in my opinion.

The owner did make some annoying modifications I agree, but this isn't a riced car because it's actually fast, which is much better than those Honda rivers lol.
Sound is awful and its bumping around like its broken. I like a popping sound here and there. But all the time? It really sounds broken.
Very fast, but doesn't look like very stable or safe...
Crazy fast for only 320hp looks more like closer to 400hp
