It's really sad to think that a young Burger King cashier refused to accept a $2 bill for payment and alerted her supervisor that the customer was attempting to pass a counterfeit bill and actually called the Police...the education system is failing our children.

I used to watch the old 1920's-30's gangster films and the money always looked huge - I thought that was simply due to the studios using phoney bills. I learned later on that our bills were much larger back then, and I wish they still were!

I worked at a bank in 1976. We received 2 dollar bills. I purchased 5 in sequential order and the post office applied postage stamps to the bills and stamped them. I have others not marked in that way.

I have 2 bills that are in sequential order. 1976 series. All of them are crispy and unfolded. It has a 1976 stamp on each one and a stamp with the date on each bill and stamp. Any idea what it may be worth?

Personally I Love the big paper currency from the older days. Kinda like the Cars and Buildings when they really put some pride into products they were sending out into the public. Unlike today where everything is just a throw-away. Thanks for sharing, Very informative vid.

I would like to know where the dollars sold. Can you, in future videos, state where the dollars sold at besides the price they sold for?

I got a flyer in the mail from a local car dealership saying "if the 2 numbers match, you are a winner". Of course the numbers matched. So I went down, flyer in hand. The salesman compared my flyer to their poster and my number did not match the number on their poster. But they had a drawing for cash. I reached in the tumbler and pulled out an envelope which had a $2 bill inside!! I was a happy camper :)

I collect different items and I discovered that I have a huge collection of Beanie babies that's now worth thousands of dollars , as well as other things I bought 20 years ago that ate now worth a lot of money. I started saving coins a long time ago and now have several that are very valuable.

I have Beanie babies also. I have old wheat pennies, buffalo Nickels, a Ton of gemstones, rough and faceted stones. Old dishes, Roseville. Paper money Etc. I found a 1944 copper wheat error penny worth $2400. I need to check the rest of my things. Try to sell them.

Depending on if you still have this collection and are looking for someone to help you find out the value of the collection.... I would contact Coneca or the numastics society, I'm sure I spelled them both wrong. Also there's a KZread personality his name is Shawn and he's BlueRidgeSilverHound . 🤷 Just a thought.

I'm not being sarcastic I'm being serious right now, with the digital microscope it's got the little screen so you're not squid and then bend in your head down trying to look kind of saves on your neck a little bit! Plus with the digital microscope you have the ability to take screenshots and to do video with most of them.

WOW! That is CRAZY COOL!!!

Hi just finished watching your video for the $2 bills and going through mine … I found that I have an overprint that is backwards. My serial number starts with an “L” which is the number 12. What caught my eye was on the top right side of the bill in between the “c” at the end of Washington DC and the “12” is a faint backwards “12” and the black district seal from the left side of the bill is on or under the treasury green seal I can’t really tell. The bottom 12 the backwards 12 is also noticeable and the left side of the bill the backs 12’s are more noticeable with the magnifying glass and the treasury is very faint just left of the district seal. Can I get any help?

It would need to be evaluated by a professional to determine if it is a genuine error. Could be an insufficient inking error, obstructed printing error, altered (which would give it no additional value).

Old scrap yard owner in my area use to give you $2 dollar bills when you sold your scrap. He is long gone now....

I know they still print them. But I hardly see 2 dollar bills in the tip jar, and some people may think it's a fake. If anything I'll stick to the 1 dollar bill so I don't get in trouble from stupid people.

I wanted to make sure that I wouldn't spend it& I'd always have some bills for those late night lost teeth. These videos make me miss being a cashier at a high volume location.... I do NOT miss customer service. Lol

So, the partially faded $2 was already part of an error sheet, as indicated by the ⭐ ... do they not make a third new sheet?

OK I had a two dollar bill a while back maybe five years ago they were all once all the way across well that would’ve been worth something please tell me know and if it is worth something let me know what I passed out I didn’t want to get rid of it it was brand spanking new from the bank. It was in a pack because I asked for them I like them but I got real sick and I needed the money to buy medication so I had to turn in my two dollar bills in the first want to start it up with all ones and the next one I’ll choose 3/4 it’s kind of cool let me know what I passed up on. I would do research ahead of time to get a better understanding of what you have. Then I would take it to a local and trusted coin/paper money dealer.

Stores keep those in their drawer in case they get robbed, and see where they turn up.

Most 1953 red seal aren't worth that much money, unless no folds. 1928 is a better date overall. Still a cool note!
