He sounds like one of those infomercial guys, lol. I like him though. This is only my 3rd video I've watched of his. I just found him today and subbed bc he's got some cool information. I've collected coins and bills since I was a cashier at 16 years old. That's how my collection started. I went through the registers every day and would just swap out my money for anything interesting that came through of the stores money. And did I mention I'm 57 now so I've been collecting for awhile. 😊

Great video, and I love the presentation. I tried coins, but was blinded by trying to see errors, so I switched to bill searches, So relaxing, since my husband became ill, and my responsibilities increased. I was getting bummed out, though, because I ditched banks, and only use credit unions, so it seems their notes are always crumbly, and not in such good condition, and I'm not sure a bank will do ANY business, if there is no account there. I was about to give up, but there were a couple of notes on this video that I was not aware existed, and my interest is piqued, AGAIN. I just purchased a lot of silver quarters, and I shall search them as well. Cold weather is upon us here, and those days are a good day for hunting notes. Such nice distractions, and I love research, and learning new things. Thanks for the solid information, and the upbeat way it is presented. Great job!

I knew all about this but I love the enthusiasm that you used to relay all this information. If anyone asks me about this I will gladly send them to this video.

I hope you read this because I might be able to say thank you in a way that is different. A 'History' is warranted. So I hope I don't lose you here. After my Semi-Retirememt, I went back to delivery pizza for Domino's again so I could drive my Monte Carlo and mix with people again. It was fun but, after listening to you. I see every delivery as a chance to find a gem. My job is like being A 49'Er now. Searching for gold. Every Tip that I get, might be a gold nugget in a form of dollar bill. I found another Star Note today. I don't need the money now. But every day that I work, I am panning for something rare. So thank you for everything. Making money is no longer about making money. It is about finding Gems.

when I was a kid in the 1960's I saw all those low serial number bills. it was very common place for my parents to go to the bank and pick out of there money low serial number and high serial number bills and Error notes of all varieties that are described in books. My parents and neighbors sad to say never listened to me to keep those bills and always returned them to the bank or spent them for face value.

This was quite interesting. I have been separating unusual bills and had no idea what to do with them. I have star notes, a 666 note and several others.

I leave it in as a treat when you finish drinking to enjoy the full flavor by placing the bag between the cheek and gum . it helped me quit a 20year addiction of chewing tobacco...

You did the one on the $50 bill that was a double quad as 0’s and 7’s or 1’s and 7’s. You missed a third value. It was a star note that adds value.

Great video & information! I have been flipping coins & notes for only about a year & 1/2. Found some pretty cool notes. Went back to check my findings a few months ago & didn't realize how many I had found. I was shocked when I found a broken ladder star note!.. anyways, I'll look for you on whatnot. Have just gotten on there few months ago.

I use to see my mom and pop get solid serial numbers frequently when I was a kid in the 1960's but they always spent them even though I suggested to them they need to put them aside and keep them.

Lot: 45 Rare year 2017 dollar bills. ALL are series “ A” ALL have the beginnings of an additional “O” next to Washington’s photo. If Washington’s photo was removed, you would see the complete “O” On the obverse under “Washington DC” under the “O” there are thirty-six small “spaces” where the gap should be but there are also eight “wide “spaces” and one space with no space and touching. On the reverse ALL 45 have the same small number “4” in the right corner. As to condition, most are near mint / mint. There are a handful ( perhaps 5) that appear to have been folded/creased in the center but NONE with heavy folding or creasing. Starting bid: 20,000

I have been telling people all about this for the last 2 years or so to check their serial numbers, and I'm going to send them to your video now because you do such a wonderful job explaining it. My favorite one I have right now is a pristine condition $20 bill with serial number 00222200.

Actually the 2013 series "B" New York branch one dollar bills were printed twice once the Fort Worth press and the other at the Washington press so keep an eye out for those.

I have 10 2013 b Star notes what do they work on the market today

About 7years ago I found a fancy 5$, 00000025 serial number!!!! I had it stolen from me by a buddy.

error notes are the serious money. I found a Binary note with zero's and 3's which was amazing to find a binary period.

Thank you so much for this video! How do I find a legit collector? Do coin places give you only a percentage like a pawn shop? Also I have a bunch of liberty half dollars..and wheat penny's. Have you done a video on that? This video was so helpful. I'm upset because severL times I've gotten sequential bills...brand new...multiple matching 00001, 00002 etc. Not knowing! A entire stack of one's like that.

I recently bought at a auction a uncut 4-1dollar sheet with the first 3 numbers being 999 and the last 3 being 666.

Hi Sr,,,l have a dollar bill in which a Red Ssal is shown under the official Black Seal ,,,,,,the Red Seal has no reason to be displayed less under the Black one

I have 20's with some great serial numbers and a one dollar bill with a cool serial number

I am assuming you are talking about the WWII era emergency issues. A yellow seal note is a North African note. The Hawaii overprint note features a Brown seal.

one more comment. A few months back my Bank teller called me and said she had some "new" straps. It was a $100 strap in ones in sequence and a $50 strap....brand new bills!!! All in serial number sequence.

Some years ago my bank gave me a Series 1934 C twenty dollar bill. I kept it.

Hello Silverpicker. I am new to this Star notes or serial number quest. I have a Star note and also a few serial number bills that rated in the 90% range. I still confused as to how to see if they are truly worth anything. Please give step by step. Also the problem could just be I’m doing everything on my cell and not seeing other options. What's up with notes with the Ietter I on them

One dollar bill dated 2013 with interesting serial numbers: 35111135 can be read forwards and backwards, thus: 3511 1135 In addition, there are stain residues on the left of Washington’s head and when zooming in you will see numerous black ink stains, making this an error bill. Folded in middle, otherwise, fine. $599 OBO

I have a complete set of $1 silver certificate solid 1 through 9 from 1935 .
