Absolutely right. I've been collecting coins and currency for over 50 years. I too ' hoard the SBA dollar coins. I manage to get just a few every month from my bank. I have around 200 so far, took 20 years to aquire them. Yeah. I've purchased several PROOFS or UNCs just to have them. But culling from circulation is tough.

I do consider the Canadian coins as beautiful as ours They have the same love for the land and its creatures as we do.I have to admit I have been waiting for Princess Diana to be put on one of the coins not in her role as royalty but as in her clearing of the mines after the war zones. And the Bahamas are giving us all a run for the most beautiful coin I think it is the quarter with the coat of arms a Marlin and a flamingo on one side and a sailboat and palm trees on the other I'll tell you that is one good-looking coin!

Anchor Hocking makes ovenproof glassware which is listed as Fire King.

Those were minted to satisfy casinos needing more small dollars for their slot machines. They did not want to wait for the 2000 Sacajawea dollars (which are the same size as the SBA dollar).
