Try a 165 in the copper. I'm a Barnes TTSX fan. As you know copper is lighter than led so a 165 gr bullet in copper is longer than a 165gr bullet in led which changes the BC of the bullet. I haven't checked on the 30 calibers but I have with my 243 the 85gr Barnes TTSX is a little longer than the 100gr led bullets so I'm faster with better accuracy. May I add that our military men and women should never be forgotten. They are the best in the world hands down. If our leaders of this nation want to take care of anybody in the world then our military men and women should take priority. May God Bless Our Military Men And Women Who Paid The Ultimate Price So That We May Be Free. May God bless all of the families of soldiers here at home and abroad. Thanks Adam for the videos and I hope you and your family along with the WHO TEE WHO family has a safe Memorial Day.

165 grains of copper and lead weigh the same.
@maxloader5278
Ай бұрын
@tolt1776 Yes, 165 gr of copper and 165 gr of led are the same but copper is lighter than led so the bullet will be slightly longer. Copper's density is 8.96 grams per cubic centimeter. Lead density is 11.4 grams per cubic centimeter. Copper and lead bullets of the same weight, the copper bullet is typically longer.
@tolt1776
Ай бұрын
@maxloader5278 fairly certain you can't have "longer" bullets...they wouldn't fit in the barrel? One can have longer bullets in a cartridge designed for them..6.5, prc, etc....but a 308 copper and a 308 lead are the same dimensions otherwise it wouldn't work.

Very impressed with that savage Great Video, I will add if you watch hornady video on gun Maintenance they will tell you they clean their 500 test guns and advise the same with copper.Did you know the pressure in your barrel will increase with each shot without cleaning your gun. Eric Cortina cleans his guns 24-7. He will tell you the most accurate shot is with a clean cold barrel each subsequent shot will loose accuracy , how much accuracy depends upon the grade of the barrel. You already know that, I did see a picture of you with the great Eric Cortina, anyway that was a very good video.

@WhoTeeWho As someone who has tried a lot of different ammo, what do you think about Hornady's new 'drag variability reduction technology'? Its supposed to reduce the number of 'flyers' like with those 165gr rounds. I watched their podcast introducing it. It looks to me like it acts like a 'drag reducing aerospike'. Have you heard anything about that? Have you tried them? I'd like to see a video where you test them against bullets you know make tight groups from your most accurate rifles. It would be cool to get bc as similar as you can when choosing which rounds to put up against the new Hornady bullets. Thanks for another fun video!

I have a Brn and Rem 30-06. Both of those prefer 165 - 168gr projectiles. 150 gr is ok/serviceable and 180 gr is ok. 165 gr is the magic number for both of those. But, as we know, guns can be persnickety about ammo. Thank you for the video - well done.
Great video man.

My Savage M110 Long Range Hunter in 300 WSM was accurate with the American 🇺🇸 Whitetail 🦌 165s, but wasn’t consistent with my reloads using 165 grain Accubonds. Great shooting otherwise and it’s nice to see about 4-5 different loads worked well for you
Great video buddy

I love watching wild cat reviews, but I'm old school. I stick to the tried and true original calibers. Wishing all my southern brothers and sisters a big ol (and most respectable) Happ y Memorial Day from Canada.
👍😊 you have verity in good ones.
Those norma bondstrike are good same bullet i used last year devastating on deer 🦌
This is about to be a real fun video
I love the short mags. I want to find a 7mm WSM. I currently hunt with a 325 WSM, super expensive ammo but a darn good round

@maxloader5278
@tolt1776
@tolt1776

Led lights have nothing to do with the density of LEAD

@tolt1776 I guess you do know the difference in the spelling of of lights and metal lol
Good budget option rifle. Very good groups for the most part. I would look at that Whitetail from Hornady again. That looked like it wanted to group but that 2nd shot drifted off. Thank you. Are you going to chronograph any of these? Oh never mind I just remembered what happened to your chronograph...lol.
I think you could use one of these works great love your videos
My 300WSM loves the Hornady 165 InterBonds. Luckily I bought a sleeve of 500 before they discontinued them.
I been hunting with a 300wsm for many years and I have had awesome luck with the Winchester ballistic silver tip 150 gr

Adam , I have to concur the 165 gr projectile hasn't been the best performer. Until she met my Swiss K- 31 then things changed. The ole Swiss Miss loves 165 gr Speer . But then again I haven't really had a Bullet that the Swiss girl didn't like..keep them groups tight.
Great video whotee seems like those 110's are definitely worth the beans. Can we get a 6 arc ammo test video? Hornady, hsm and druid hills ammo? They have from 58grain up to 108gr 👀

Working on getting an arc
I have an old Remington Mohawk 600 in .308, 18" bbl, it loves 165 and 168 grain bullets.

Man, that gun shoots most everything good.
I’ve tried that American whitetail in a few different caliber slingers of mine and could never get good groups. Always have had good luck with any one of federal’s flavours

I have had relatively good luck with the Hornady American Whitetail in 308 & 270 . Using 150 SP and 140 SP . The rifles in the 308 were Mossberg Patriot , Christianson Arms Mesa Joe & Remington 783 . In the 270 win I used my old stand by a Santa Barbara Mauser the thing can be a tack driver until she gets warm then things open up.

The 165 American whitetail is the only bullet I've tried my 300wsm doesn't like
Deer Season XP out of my 300 WSM best was .66 and it does that consistently. Lives the stuff
Cool stuff 🇺🇸👍
Would love to see the Barnes out of it..TTSX would be interesting. If had the money I'd send you a box.
Good video
That’s pretty cool how you had a butterfly photo bombing you
Hay y'all, I hope y'all are having a good evening

No its clean the barrel before shooting copper bullets, if accuracy is not good.
Adam I have a few questions for you concerning Winchesters short mag offerings. Though I love the Remington 8mm Magnum, I’d like to get my hands on a 325 Short Mag. Can you keep your eye open for either chambering?

Awesome shooter! I’m surprised you haven’t had any luck with 165 grainers. Each of my 30 slingers, as well as my buddies WsM slingers, like them. Did you reshoot the 1.87” group to see if it did better?

Thank you sir for showing us on different ammo can do sir but as i am in air rifles mode but in rifles and Air rifles that the barrel chose the ammo no matter if its a powder burners or air power in most cases it comes down to the barrel what it's like sir i don't know if this is the truth or not sir please let me know please thank you sir
❤❤❤
Ok you talked me into a new Savage boolit slinger it's on it's way. 30-06 cause I got a bunch of ammo.
Talking about Copper ammo. Here where I live hunters are not allowed to use lead ammo when hunting near rivers or marshland. So they use copper our brass bullets.
Cool
If possible try the Sako ammo. It is very available in my area
Do you keep your targets to reference for when you're going to shoot a particular gun in the future . Or how do you keep track of which ammo for the gun.

I like reloading 165gr SST with 760win for my 300wsm. Good deer round.
how long does a barrel vibrate after being shot, this might be the reason that some shots whiff
I got the copper impact for my 270 wsm browning and it groups 3” totally hates it and one case slit
👍WTW
165/168 gr have been good out of my 308 other than American Whitetail.
Never had much luck with all copper on animal's.i do load alot of V-Max.

Most of my TC Barrels like win. Silver tip ammo..
I’ve watched a few different videos on other channels on them shooting the Hornady Whitetail ammo and it doesn’t matter what caliber it never shoots accurate
Ron say clean that barrel before copper……
Should I go 7 PRC or 300 WSM? I won’t go 300 PRC because the rifles are more expensive in it. I’m worried about 300 WSM falling out and while I think 7 PRC will be here a while.
