Bruce Gore, Yes Sir. You paint such a real geo- political picture for the 4 gospels to live in. It is amazing. I was born of Spirit in 1979 , but never read commentaries. Only the bible even interlinear. Very cautious of doctrines of man. Why do I like even your " test balloons"? I am not flattering you but you do deserve to be appreciated for your service or living sacrifice. Sunday school , Amen

As a traditional Catholic this seems to be an excellent and objective historical series covering this era. Obviously, I haven't watched them all. Dr.Ryan Reeves presentations are also very good. To date, I've only found objection with Reeves's take on the Crusades, although he doesn't cover them in the detail that I'm normally used to.

The 10 horns are the 10 Gothic tribes, 3 of which were destroyed by the 11th horn Bishop of Rome. The 10 Gothic tribes are descended from the deported 10 Northern tribes of Israel.

Great, I have the other one ( jewish War ) , Daniel's horns in chapter 7 can refer to the 10 barbarian nations that eventually destroyed Rome like the vandals, the anglo saxons, burgandies, lambards , visgouths etc ... the little horn is the papacy , thats according to most reformation scholars.

Still a very curious thing: Antiohus Epifanus declined to declare war to Rome while he was the head of a big empire and Egypt was a big bounty. 100 years later, the Zealots which took charge in Ierusalim did not hesitate to declare the war to Rome and refused the peace until the bitter end without any clear bounty.

These are European attempts to cloud the fact that the people of the middle east at that time would be called black people.

I agree a hundred percent that God has evrything in hand and that he is the master of the universe and that He is best to ru n my own life. I want to surrunder everything to Him...but how do I know that I have? I often hear people say that, but their lives do not give a testimony to that effect. I have Jesus who gives me the example. How do I know that I have done it. The original sin of Adam and Eve was a sin of desobediance...How do I know that I am really obediant to God...I know that if I obey the commandements..that's a start...but what about the rest?? ...and what is the rest???

Seek only to know God and commune with Him. Let Him become your best Friend. Allow His righteousness to flow through you and out of you by the power of His Holy Spirit. The efforts you make to be righteous of your own abilities are futile.

Jesus Christ told his disciples that the Abomination that causes Desolation was still future at that particular time but would be present within that 1st century. Luke chapter 21 indicates that it was the Roman army standing in the location of Jerusalem.

Following your theory of horns, Galba, Otho, and Vitellius were short reigning Emperors. It follows that Galba, Otho, and Vitellius are the uprooted horns, Vespasian was Horn #10, making Titus the Little Horn. Titus was the man who sacked Jerusalem in 70 AD, thus starting another Diaspora for Judah.

You should listen to Walter Vieth to find out who the little horn is.

27:25 Turkey did not exist at that time. Most of the Turkic people were still living in the mountain plateaus of what is today western China. You could use contemporary geographic names like Pontus, Asia Minor, Armenia or Cappadocia. Please people we need to be careful with the words we use.

As per the earlier episode where Gore introduces Daniel Ch 2 prophecy of empires from Babylon onwards, (my comment therein explains) he is careful NOT to identify the iron and clay feet, 5th Empire as the Vatican Antichrist - the ruling church and state since the fall of the roman empire. 10 toes of the split Europe of the dark ages, later 10 areas of the modern world split by Jesuit controlled UN. Thanks for the perspective. For what it's worth, I quite familiar with the views you mention here, but find they raise many more questions than provide answers, and the decision not to mentioned those views is intentional, blind or not.

I find it very interesting that this person could not bring himself to describe how most Jews and a lot of Christians think that this was fulfillment of the prophecy of Daniel and that he didn't bring that out is I think a problem with his presentation Judas Maccabees rededicated The Temple at the time that fits the description that Daniel predicts

Rome didn't recognize "Israel" They recognized the dynasty. There was no Israel

It was the Kingdom of Judea. The Kingdom of Israel (Northern Kingdom) was destroyed by the Assyrians a few centuries earlier. i.e there was Israel (generally meaning the Northern Kingdom at the time) However -- Much of the refugees from Israel would have gone south to Judea (evidenced by massive population increase after the Assyrian invasion of the North) The unified Kingdom of Israel & Judea would be "Israel" and its a more appropriate name than Judea which is technically only one tribe to begin with. However - with other tribe refugees from the north and intermixing previously its unlikely to be "pure Judeans" i.e Israel is more appropriate as in Israelites. The religion is named after Judea i.e Judaism - perhaps Israelism would be more appropriate.

I’m Protestant and I know about it.

The Ten Horns of Daniel are as follows, Alamanni, Burgundian, Franks, Lombards, Saxons,Suevi, Visigoths, Heruli,Vandals, and the Ostrogoths. The last three now being extinct. Ten horns, horns referring to ten kings. It was the roman empire. That should give you something to think about.. I hope it helps. God Bless.

The little horn is the UN. Son of man means he was born of man able to relate to our weaknesses. Why do u know so much yet not that. Ezekiel wascalledson of man also. Flesh.

Let me clarify why Jesus calls himself Son of man. Make no mistake and be not deceived. God is a trinity. Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. His existence is beyond human understanding. Don't try to understand it. We cannot understand how 3 persons can be one God. But to differentiate Himself Jesus called Himself the son of man. Which simply means Human. The human. Read isaiah and Ezekiel and see God himself called them son of man. Human. Also it's likely the hebrew and greek language had no equivalent to the word human being other than son of man. So when Jesus says, son of man, he is not saying he is not God. He is saying God, the human. From a heavenly perspective, that's who He is. Thats how the heavenly host see him. In the Trinity of God, He is God, the human. Jesus viewed himself as that and we ought to try to understand that perspective.

Your statement that the idoumians hated the judeans after the conversion is complete conjecture. there is no historical proof for it. If anything the historical proof would show otherwise. 20,000 went to fight to protect the temple. In each of the several revolts into means fought with the Jews as Jews. Herod and many others decendents are mentioned in text including the talmud with positions of prominence or as scholars.

It would be much more valid I think to look on the theory of the 10 horns coming up together being in the Roman land and the 11 uprooting 3 of them... The 11 would be the Papacy or Roman Catholicism where he "the so called pope" sits as king of the entire world. The man in Rome who takes the blasphemes title of Holy Father unto himself, and ruler over all the Earth and God and Vicar on earth is found in Rome. And thinks to change times and laws...
