When I was little my parents would take us on a road trip from WA State to the state of Chiapas in Mexico every summer. It's some of my most favorite memories. We drove a week to get there, then we would stay for 3-4 weeks and it would take a week to get back. I love road trips so much, hope your kids had fun!

I never realized how much cold weather items changed how people look! Im really happy you didnt cancel it and went and had a good trip.

I’m really glad you guys still got to go. I could tell through the past few weeks of vlogs how excited you all were! The scary thing about this is how rapidly it’s changing, if your tip had been just a week or two later it would’ve been a lot harder to decide what to do.

To see Noah's joy, with the snowball, made my day! Showing your children, experiencing, what different parts of the U.S. look like, both nature and types of stores etc, is of extreme value. It will be a trip the older children will remember and something your family can talk about for years to come! Hope you enjoyed the Midwest (Kansas, Missouri, Illinois) and Colorado. Missouri is my home state and I lived in Colorado for several years as well.

You two did what was right for your family!!! Nobody knows the future...you had no way to know how bad it was going to get!!! You guy's will always remember this trip!!!

No judgment here. You planned this meticulously months ago. I am glad it went so well!

You are a responsible Mama we know your kids health and happiness is everything to you and I’m sure you took many precautions and even though you didn’t managed to have the full experience desired... though who knows when your planned for... half a year ahead could have taken place now or when. Your holiday is no less important now and still incredibly important despite thus worldwide issue. We just entered lockdown in NZ. Glad you had an awesome time as that may just help these next coming months just a lil better. We all know just how much preparation went into giving your kids family memories to last their lives, we know you went so it is great to see you enjoying yourselves. I like you guys, but make sure you wear gloves when you put fuel in your car- that’s a huge way the virus is spreading from person to person.

Kathy Shifflett in Orlando gas is $1.98/gallon!! I could hardly believe that it’s under $2!

In northern Utah gas is around $2.02 a gallon

I’m glad you were able to still have a fun time ❤️ I remember seeing you the day when left and I didn’t think it was crazy. Maybe that was because I stocked up a few weeks ahead of time after watching another KZreadr. Even after stocking up I still wasn’t thinking it was going to come to the level it’s at. Here in MI we went into lockdown on Monday so my cousin and his fiancée got married that afternoon so because they didn’t want to live apart or together unmarried.

I feel this. My family and I left our home in Oklahoma on March 8th to take a trip to visit his great grandfather in Tennesee. As we were there, the corona virus stuff slowly started getting worse. It was scary like you said being so far from home and all this happening.

Thank you so much for the smiles, it was nice during this horrible time of the unknown. Keep em coming please.

All anyone can be expected to do is follow the current advice of the government and medical professionals. You can't see into the future! It sounds like at the time of the trip the advice was hand-washing, avoiding crowds/ social distancing which is what you all did. You did the sensible thing, took the necessary precautions and hats much better than panicking and living in fear! So glad ye had a great trip!! Love from 🇮🇪

It's funny to hear you say a cute little country store. Casey's are a dime a dozen here where I live lol. But we'renot normal because we actually dont like it and most people rave about their pizza. Winters in the midwest are far different up here than the south. My kids actually asked why the leaves were still on the trees when we went to Florida in December.

Don’t feel bad! None of us knew it was going to get that bad, or that fast. Actually Florida was probably more of a hot spot for the corona virus, than anyplace you passed through.

My dad started to worry about it getting this bad back in the middle of February. Back in the middle of February he told my mom to get a few cases of water incase of a quarantine situation.

$2.49 wow! Where I live regular gas is about $1.20

If it dont come from the president or our mayor I take info with a grain of salt. I have many health issues that put me in high risk. I am laying low, I have not worked since last Sat but will go if called in. I have my letter to be able to go into other counties and to travel as I am concidered health care and essential. But I am getting my 30 hrs guaranteed and blessed. My hubby is still working as he works outside construction and is included on the list that can work. My step daughter and her husband are work from home status from the military base here that has had 2 people test positive.

Hope all is well! We are all just trying to cope day by day. You’re doing a good job and vlogs are definitely helpful during Quarantine #reallife

I’m glad you guys got to go!!! We were supposed to go to Disney world at the end of April but because of this virus we had to cancel our trip 😞 and it wasn’t just any trip our girls were going to get to dance at Disney for the first time at dance summit 😢. We are hoping they reschedule for this summer! And either way we are planning a trip to FL and Disney world in October now!

lol gas where I live is $3.19, and that's cheaper than it was a few months ago.

She speaks the truth about the panic buy here in Florida! People were NOT panic buying until two weeks ago. Fast-forward to today, can't find Toilet paper for miles, if you have hand sanitizer you're freaking lucky, meats are freaking flying off the shelves!! This was NOT happening until two weeks ago! 😩
