I love how much you invest into your kids. The boys are super lucky to have parents that are willing to give them all the things that can help them with sensory needs

The calm down room would be great with some colour changing mood lighting.

Will I be able to fit a sensory swing in an apartment? When I move out, I really want to invest in a swing!

Me toooo!! I'm just going to say this: I'm not going to move out, but at my mom's house I'm gonna have a hanging chair swing type of chair (with a stand) and my room is pretty SMALL. And in my granny's house (which is much bigger) I can have a bigger swing. And you can also have a swing outside ☺

Hi! I am going to post this a couple places so that maybe you’ll hopefully see it. I’ve been a viewer for a long time now and had a video suggestion? My niece has Autism and a cognitive delay, which make homeschool during this quarantine even more of a challenge for my sister and her husband. I wondered if you could make a video of tips/ideas for quarantine and homeschooling for special needs kids? Thanks! Stay safe!

Parents, at what point should I be concerned about my son’s behavior? He Turns 4 on May 26th, mild speech delay ASD was ruled out. He seems to tantrum/meltdown a lot (usually when we tell him no or he’s tired) like 3-5 times a day. These can last like seriously less than a minute (hardly at all) to around 15-20. He also doesn’t hit technically but like swats at us barely making contact when we put him in timeout. Thoughts?

He just gets so crabby during that time. I’m a first time mom, where’s the line for normal 3 year old shenanigans and a deeper issue?

Hi there I'm not a parent but a sibling to a brother who sounds like your son from what you mentioned. ASD also got ruled out but attachment disorder and adaptive disorder were diagnosed instead. Just a thought. I'm neither a doctor nor do I have a lot of knowledge about this, but I thought hopefully this answer is more helpful than none, maybe a parent will comment at some point. You could maybe ask if those two or one of them is a possibility for your child. Anyway good luck

Thank you for the video. We are buying our first home soon and I can't wait to work on a sensory space for my sons! Would you consider doing a video on your children's sensory diets and how you manage it all? How often do they need sensory input and what kind of activities do you guys do? Can they do most activities on their own or do you have to direct them? How do you teach them to do their sensory activities alone? What tips do you have for moms who need to implement a diet but are struggling? For example, the therapists prescribed my son proprioceptive activities for 15 minutes ever hour but I am having a hard time staying on top of it. My son is two and a half and moves from activity to activity quickly and has low muscle tone so he isn't able to do the activities on his own yet. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
