    What's up Jonathan? So after watching your last video I took the time and researched the specs of the subs that you are getting. Those subs are crazy! And your getting 3 of them. I'm loving it. Your room is going to be insane. Not only the sound but even nice looking. Your doing a great job man. Really enjoying watching your videos. Keep up the great work.

    Great vid man can't wait to see it done also like the advice you gave at the end about not financing too many people make that mistake.

    You have got to do a video the first time you let all 3 of those 4000's fly. I felt one and it was an experience. Movie/massage experience in that room :)

    Smart move too get the other cap. JTR is raising the prices up on them come November the 1st. Can't wait until the room is finished.

    You are F#(KING INSANE!... Just like me. Keep it up. I REALLY hope to see a detailed review of the subs once you get them fired up and have some listening time with them. I have been considering getting duals of either: Rythmik 215hp, PSA V3601, or JTR Cap 4000ULF for a while now and can't decide. Whatever I get, I know it'll be better than a single SVS PB13ultra, but your opinion on these JTRs would be golden. Keep the updates coming bro.

    You'll be glad to know that the SpeakerPower amps are 90~95% efficient. Higher efficiency means less wasted heat from the same power output. This is why the amps don't even have fins.

    Very very interesting, I am looking forward to these in action and your thoughts. Sold both my fv25hp and have quite sometime to get again or something else. My lucky number is 4 😁 I am saving my pennies 👍

    @@aaromon43 Main reason was I had to move from house to condo and there is a HOA here. 2nd reason was and this might be crazy but eventhough these were amazing subs they didnt quite give me the thump in my chest as I thought they would. I was planning on buying a 3rd or even 4th but never got the chance. I might be chasing the white rabbit on this one but I'm willing to dive head 1st 😁

    @@itech1129 how large of a room did you have them in? sorry to hear about the house to condo transition, at least in respect to having a home theater (or not being evicted annoying your neighbors with bass lol!). shared walls is probably no fun but such is life. the fv25 is a lot of subwoofer, but it just wasn't enough for me (or you). i was actually holding out for their new fv28, but that sub is going to use the same amp as fv25 & driver excursion is still 20mm (sigh). i want a huge leap forward in performance and the cap4000 should provide that. good luck with whatever you end up doing!

    @@aaromon43 I believe the size was about 800 to 850 but I had double vaulted ceilings and a opening to the kitchen and hall. May have been over kill in paper but in person it wasn't what I expected nothing bad towards the subs. I think I just want a full body experience 😁 I personally never heard them but it seem like you and I are looking for the same solution. If those end up working for you I might go that route depending on your thoughts.

    I'm sure you already know this but having your surrounds so close to the Atmos speakers is going to create zero separation for the two layers. I also have concerns about that riser and placing those subs underneath it, I have a feeling your going to be fighting with vibrations and rattling. So many compromises for more ULF, does all of this make for a better movie experience then your previous setup? I'm not so sure. Nevertheless I will say I'm enjoying your HT journey.

    re: rear surround & rear atmos locations, i've actually improved this by lowering the rear surrounds some time ago which definitely helped separate the two. my ceiling height at the rear of the room is ~6'8". i frequently wish for taller ceilings but to pull that off we're talking about ripping apart the room down to the concrete and paying tens of thousands of dollars to dig down to gain that height (i don't see that happening in this lifetime haha). re: vibrations & rattles, i'll handle them as they pop-up. this entire project was more about adding seating than it was ULF, but i found a way to do both. i had a good amount of sub-power with the 3 rythmik's, but like i mentioned in the video if nothing else i want to know what i've been missing with the JTR subs. maybe i'll hate & return them (i kind of doubt it but who knows), i have no idea. but i'm willing to roll the dice and eat the ~$1k shipping costs if that's the case. i could still try both the psa tv36 sub, and even the new rythmik fv28 (once it is released later this year). this is just a hobby after all, and the journey is in some ways more fun than the destination!

    R does sud better than SVS ?

  • @aaromon43

    @aaromon43

    it isn't fair to compare the two brands (they're not really in competition with each-other). svs serves a purpose though. it's a respectable offering from a brick retail store. svs is more directly comparable to the likes of rythmik, hsu, psa, seaton, etc.
