Interesting session and seemingly symbolic as a whole. Your initial uneasiness walked up on the cicada almost as a warning, on toward park statues that one would expect to be pretty or strong or inspiring in some way that were actually unnerving, which could all represent Chris. Then the butterfly circling you at the point is most definitely a positive representation for free spirit, acknowledging you and then continuing on its journey. Well done 👍

The symbolism there was strong. When we first entered the field, it felt dark and creepy (because of those sculptures) but it ended on a peaceful/happy note. Almost as if they are saying...our murder was dark and creepy but now we are at peace.

I've followed this case for 3 years - ever since it happened. I've come to the conclusion that I believe the reason this case was so different is because Shan'ann was so active on Facebook and shared her girls in many videos so you almost felt like you knew them. Also, I think it could be because Chris disposed of them in the way he did! It's the rhetorical question, "Who does this!?

I think he cheated on her because maybe he felt neglected since she was always doing fb lives and traveling. I think he was jealous of her success,too.

my take on it is I think its because he resented her, because she was the dominant partner in the relationship and he probably viewed himself as the victim but its was all on him being weak and not being being strong enough in leaving Shan'ann and the children. He was submissive to the point that when he met NK it stroked his confidence and gave him the impetus to do something about it. Not do something about it as a normal person would do and get a divorce but take it to extremely nefarious and evil lengths as murdering his wife and children. Maybe because he did not want to suffer financially from a divorce and child maintenance payments but how or why did he think this was the preferred option and one he could get away with is, is more the baffling part?. I was controlled once in a relationship by a dominant woman, and it did not work. As soon as I started to say no and stick up for myself, this caused heated arguments, but it did not resort to violence. Only strong verbal attacks from both parties. It ultimately ended up with us splitting up and getting a divorce. that is what Chris should have done but he was too much of a coward to do this. It was a blatant act of cowardice what he did and he actually thought this was the easier way out, beggars belief!

This is something I would love to do if I were in Colorado !! This case to me just feels incomplete. Chris took the blame and the case was closed and I feel like there’s so much more to it and more people involved ! It just Doesn’t make sense to me how a happily married man can just murder his wife and kids all for a mistress. I just feel like there’s more to it. And the fact that the police stopped investigating Nikki just bc Chris said she had nothing to Do with it?! Clearly he lied before on multiple occasions he damn sure can be lying about her involvement.

I feel like their relationship developed into the perfect storm. They were living beyond their means,they filled bankruptcy, were behind in bills. She was a more take charge person than him.she seemed to be the one who expected a certain standard,,wanted the best for her girls and do whatever she had to do to make that happen.all their lifestyle expences caught up with them. Being house poor is very stressful when two people are working,with good paying jobs.put a mistress on top of that and for him,bingo, the jack hole can't figure any other way than murder.we can't understand why he could do that. People have murdered love ones for less!

I'm in SC so haven't really heard about this case except from you. One thing that kept coming to my mind (even while watching your first video about CW) was that I wonder if he had other victims. This because you kept being led to places that would make good places to dump bodies, if one were looking for such a place. This might tie into the information not released to the public and unknown aspects of the case. I can hardly wait for your next randoroam!

thank you for doing this one Genevieve. I must say, I never saw the Watt’s as a perfect American family. I have two children that were about the same age and a sweet husband. I always thought Chris was an odd man out in the relationship between his family (wife and kids). He never seemed attached in all the videos I saw of him and his family when shanan would record for her work. It just didn’t seem like they were a pair per say.

The weird pipes.. cw in his Wisconsin interview kept asking if anyone checked in on the pipes in the house. The toilet in the children’s bathroom had sentiment in it and was empty. They never investigated this further. His asking about the pipes though is very telling. Being lead to the pipes is telling.

I think why another of people can't let it go. That case was closed the fastest then any murder scene. People lied and walked away. Because one said he did it all. They had no proof he did any of it. Yes we know he did it. And he is where he needs to be. But so do others. Detectives caught nk in lie after lie and patted her on the back and let her walk away. Shannanand the kids need justice and I personally don't think they got all involved.

Also I find it interesting you mentioned the human trafficking issue the entire state of colorado faces as it is really a lot of the entire state and glad you mentioned it as it needs to have a huge light shined apon it. There are many areas of the state of colorado dealing with this issue and a lot of the human traffic if actually is surrounded around Native American women which I also found interesting with the native statues you found in this video. There is a conspiracy around the human trafficking especially around the mountains and bases here in colorado. It is a very dark exploration and road to go down and is also very interesting when you go down the conspiracy of that topic.

Those sculptures did look creepy and unpredictable. They felt that they were coming from or heading toward a dark place--especially installed in a such a vast open field with very few people around.

There are a lot of sensitives attracted to this case. One detail that has been surfacing lately is how it would have been impossible for her to arrive home from the Denver airport at the time she walked through the door. It’s a detail that is being investigated in the utube world.

Not sure what park it started @ but NK & CW 1st went there for a MTG & NK did a police interview in a park. So perhaps thats a reason (?)

I think this case was so far in the forefront that everyone was so shocked by this so called, " Perfect family nexted door" thing. I remember when Scott Peterson murdered his pregnant wife. Chris and Peter should have been twins. Their personalities were so alike. Anyway, Thank you for the video. I admit that I have been a bit obsessed with the case as well...

I find it interesting when you did the 360 .. shannan was buried in a very very similar area. Flat, grassy patches etc. What is one of the details of the case that the utubers can’t let go if is one of the “worker” had been at the site the following few days and was parked right beside where the grave was but didn’t see the sheets, I pastic bags, rake handle .. nothing .. this to me says it would have been impossible for the water truck guy and the worker not to have seen those items, parked right beside it.

I always wondered why Shan'ann just upped and suddenly wanted to move out to Colorado after living in North Carolina and that's where both their parents lived. It has been said she had a friend out there and her & Chris stayed with them a while. She got a good feeling about the place during that stay and wanted to move there and have a fresh start with Chris. Now, I am an Alabama girl and I love our foothills of the Appalachians & forests and trees & I'm sure North Carolina is the same. I never have been a fan of flat treeless places. However, with the scenery there and the doves in your other video and the butterfly in this one, I also get good vibes about the Frederick area as far as a place to live. There might be some bad, shady, under the radar stuff going on though. I can fully believe that. Thanks for sharing this. I believe the part we don't know has something to do with the pipeline, oil industry, geology of the area and certain 'experimental testing' going on. That's why you kept getting sent to pipeline areas. Look into the blue horse at DIA and the theories around what's underneath while keeping in mind what NK studied and had a degree in.

Shanann had Lupus and Fibromyalgia. The humidity in NC was bad and triggers pain. I too have Fibromyalgia and can vouch for that. Shan'ann has spoken on it many times. Colorado is dryer climate. Fibromyalgia pain is no joke and mimics Lupus. She got a double whammy on that. I too live in a dryer climate state for the same reasons. Chronic unrelenting pain is difficult to deal with. Humidity is torture.

The pink thing? Was it a porta potty? In the early days of the investigation a dog alerted on one.

I get two impressions when you say the butterfly was the point. Butterflies are free. They are sooo much better off not being with who killed them anymore.
