Did you ever hear that speed Queen has the TC series which is the refined classic flexvane style? They were forced to bring the classic style back due to the fires they lit with this model. It’s very very good and by far the best top loader sold today no lid lock and traditional reliable system.

Reliable system?? Boy I can tell you’ve never worked in the appliance trade. Same transmission drive in the TC-5 is used in the commercial Laundromat top loading SQ’s and trust me they aren’t quite that bullet proof! But they are repairable and that’s you buy a SQ! Ain’t no Maytag commercial machine built by whirlpool worth the money, it’s a throwaway machine and you aren’t gonna convince me otherwise because whirlpool is a consumer grade company trying to be commercial and always was. The original Maytag Corp machine was the only machine you could compare to a Speed Queen too!

@@Channel-cm7yc I think it’s quite funny that you try to put yourself above someone you don’t even know from backgrounds you have zero clue about. Yes, the Speed Queen classic flexvane wash system is the most solid and reliable currently on the market for a new top loader, which is not an arguable statement it’s a fact. Whirlpool used to make good appliances before the HE scandal, not anymore when it comes to washers. Those commercial Maytags will last no where near as long as the Queens I can say from experience. I really do like them but they sound awful for one and their a bit overpriced. They are just a tuned up VMW series machine. We have multiple SQ washers at my facility I work for, fully mechanical commercial models, they’ve had them for years and years and they’ve never had any issues and they are heavily used by the 400 tenants we have. Another thing that hasn’t had any issues are the two queens that get hundreds of loads thrown at them every week in our main laundry room. Never once has one had a problem, week after week, month after month, year after year these machines are solid they are ran over and over continuously all day everyday and they never have a problem. For decades they’ve worn the most reliable brand plaque for a reason, they are built strong and made to last a very long time which is still true today in the commercial and TC series, however electronic crap will go far before a trans. You clearly are very new to the appliance industry, it’s just common sense that people know that Speed Queen holds the real deal still as they have for multiple decades in a row back from when they were owned by Raytheon it’s always been strong durability and reliability from them. They screwed up big time with the TR series I will say. Overall They are solid machines simply built to last, and they withhold a higher standard than what WP can offer nowadays.

I think the mixing valves are defective. I've replaced a bunch of them.

I replaced it with a Maytag Commercial. I don't think the TR3 is worth repairing. SQ should recall all of those models.
