Literally couldn’t have cared less about the MLB before like a month ago. Ohtani is the only reason I’ve watched any baseball for the first time in 10 years. I’m finding myself going out of my way to look up clips of this guy and I’m sure I’m not the only one. Legend before our eyes

Hopefully, MLB trying their best to market Ohtani to promote the game of baseball would not hurt his career and his public image in a bad way. I mean what do you do? Not sign them? The Angels are paying them. If they didn’t there’s 7-10 teams ready to drop a billion on them both. Obviously the team isn’t great but you can’t drop generational talent like them if you are ownership because you’ll always be known as the teams that traded or released those two
babe Ruth played in the baby age of baseball. Ohtani is incredible doing this in the modern age. This guy is the "Natural".
I quit following baseball a few years ago but seeing snippets like this and his other accomplishments this year have me cheering for this guy. It sure would be nice to see more players that have this guys attitude and love for playing a game,
I follow ohtani not because of what he says, interpreter or not, but because of what he does on the field.

Exactly. I read all the time about how so many people are coming back to baseball cuz of him. He doesn't hurt the game of baseball, what a stupid thing to say Stephen.

@@AA-jd2iz Great comment!! The little kind things he does, like patting the bat boy on the shoulder after he gives him the broken bat speak volumes in a universal language that needs no interpreter. 👍👍👍

You rock Ohtani
Me has brought me back to watching the MLB after not watching for 8 years. Hopefully all this promotion doesn’t cause people to hate, but I don’t think Ohtani would change with more attention. Whatever happens the rest of his career, good luck and thanks for making baseball fun!
Ohtani looks like he's having the time of his life. Really happy for him and happy to see players that can enjoy the game.
He's un-freaking-believable. So amazing what we are seeing.

That's crazy I've never seen a player with this much attention but he deserves it he's incredible
I’m a 30 year old penguin from the South Pole and I watch baseball because of Ohtani.
