I'm 69 years old and have been a baseball fan from the early 60s. I've seen all of the great players of the last 50-60 years either on tv or in person and I've never seen anything like this guy. Just absolutely amazing to watch what he's doing.

The other day, Atlanta fans booed the Braves at home after they intentionally walked Ohtani. I think every sports fan appreciates how rare a player like this is. If he beat the Yankees 12-0 and drove in all the runs himself I’d still watch the replay over and over.

Ohtani is not a "once in a lifetime" player. Ohtani is a "once EVER" player. There has never been anyone like him before and will likely never be again. If he played close to me I would attend every game he pitched just to say "I saw him pitch live!" to my grandkids

​@@mattblom3990 Yep, I've played both at a very high level. Hockey requires the skills of a point guard on skates going backward. Yanks have no idea how difficult hockey is to play. I was fortunate to have grown up close to Canada, so we had plenty of places to play.

The opponent fans paid the tickets especially for seeing Shohei's pitching and homers! If it's some other teams, there would even be far less audiences! I think the Tiger fans probably didn't expect Shohei played in 2nd game after start pitching and even hit 2 homers😂. If people expected Shohei playing in both games with such greatness, there would be at least as many audiences in 2nd game as the 1st game. Shohei was once again did Greatness beyond what people could expect😊(including Angels manager, teammates, MLB commentators, and baseball experts)!
