This episode includes a free download of an incredibly powerful, science-backed tool that will help you start dreaming again.

    What you share in this podcast is what my Dad and Mom taught me when I was a young girl. Failure never existed in our vocabulary since it did not exist. If there is a will, there is ALWAYS a way, no matter how many tries are made. It is all up to your heart and mind. ❤ This life principle is timeless and priceless. There is no limit to what one can go after, no limits to wants, desires, dreams...as long as it's done with morals and values. Manifestation is real and active. ❤

    This is so helpful. I am in my forties and have failed at so many dreams that I don’t believe in my dreams because the disappointment has brought so much pain. Redreaming is such a great daily practise to get out of the negative mind and into the realm of possibilities.

    This just hurts. I once had dreams. I wrote them down. Several of them actually happened. And, somehow, I lost my way-I was the one who took on the brunt of caring for my mom and dad-for 18 years of my adult life. I think the constant stress of that blew me off course. And then I felt like I didn’t have any dreams anymore. Life got very, very hard. I’m older now-just angling for when I’m old enough to retire and realizing that I have to create some sort of extra income in order to pull it off. I feel like I did almost everything wrong. And then, last year, my sister-whose house is full of positive little posters and cards-“what if everything goes RIGHT?” “Today is a miracle.” “Make your dreams come true!” Not too many of her dreams ever came true. She was never even close to a middle class income. Last year, my sister who always struggled, was in a terrible car accident. Not her fault. Nothing she could have done to avoid it. She was a healthy, vital yoga instructor/massage therapist. She is now a quadriplegic on a vent, unable to use even her fingers-in an average nursing home, which is basically for anybody, a substandard living situation-losing hope every single day, because our medical system doesn’t think she is worth rehab. And I realize, looking at her, that any one of us could have our possibilities robbed of us at any moment. It makes me want to accomplish whatever it is right now. But somehow I am so, so tired of pushing, of working, of being just crushed. I need this today. I need to start writing those five things down every morning. I’m just so tired.

    Wow you have a special place in heaven with God! It’s great that you had dreams but what you did taking care of your parents was a purpose in your life that God wanted you to do! Your cross in this life!

  • @kjmav10135

    @kjmav10135

    Жыл бұрын

    @@maryjean1615 I’m sorry Maryjean. I know you meant well by your comment. There is no spiritual sugar to coat those difficult years. Did it have its rewards? Yes. did I learn from it? Yes. I know enough not to waste pain. But no “special place in heaven with God.” Even though what I went through was stressful and time consuming, it was certainly not a “cross to bear.” A cross was a Roman instrument of torture. I don’t believe in any sadistic divinity that tortures people or allows them to be tortured. Furthermore taking care of my parents was not torture, nor was it my “purpose in life.” It was something I did because I loved my parents, but it was definitely not my purpose. I wrote down my five dreams yesterday morning, and now I’m going to do it again. I’m going to get back on track in this life, and not worry about whatever may or may not be in the next.

    at a crisis in my life, I realized that I did not pursue my childhood dream just as I was slipping into a coma. I made a contract with my soul that now, I will and I fell into a coma. This was a 1 second conscious decision, at the very last moment. The very next day, I recovered completely. This is how powerful the dream is and this is how true Mel is in this podcast. Following our Dream is keeping life itself. At least for me it is. I'd LOVE to meet you Mel!!! Just incredible Force of Nature.

    Hi Mel, I've been following you now for a short couple of weeks; I've downloaded "take control" and am still lost, unfocused and stuck, HOWEVER, I'm not done, I'm not quitting but my BIG question/comment is that I have no dream, no passion, no idea of what or where I'm going. I've straight up been lucky in my life, at 81 years old I can report a life full of experiences I don't regret, from divorces to a real estate license to becoming a yoga instructor to being kicked out of my home and now alone in an apartment I did not ever want to live in, I still have no dream but I still have life left in me and am not quitting.....just saying I've chosen Tina Turner as my North Star but still don't have any passion or a dream!!!! HELP!!!! & I love you back

    Hi Mel, I understand her when she says: I wanna get somewhere. I have been fighting to get a job for 3 years or more, but I couldn't get one. So, last year, really powered up by listening to Boss Babe and the girls I became an entrepreneur with my own business in Ro Ilustraciones & Diseño as I'm a Design Illustrator. I'm still looking for a job, to get more guidance in my career, but apart from the fact that I'm still fighting now I love being independent. This wan't in my plan after I graduate, but I'll keep on moving foward and see what's coming!

Then as I was getting my high school diploma at 38 I still didn’t know and I was like I’m to old ti go back and do college. As I type this I just finished applying to a college for my bachelor degree in public administration is what I am already getting experience in at my job because I love it.

    Mel, I'm a composer. I have had problems my whole life with failing report cards and a messy room. I was basically continually in pain and felt stupid. Luckily, I learned I could write music. Anyway, the reason I can do that, is your 5 Second Rule. And, I have a bracelet, with the ring, that says 54321 GO. In any case, it's very good. Because, I choose not to use the rule, unless I have it visible, next to me. And, the house is clean. I am writing music. And, of all things, will continue to write music. All because you helped me with my procrastination.

    ♥MEL❣ YOU kicked my ASS. I'm a writer, and I have written so many "outlines", scraps of scenes & story ideas, of which I have 6 banker's boxes FULL UP for story ideas, and random journals of bizarre events and people that happened in real life. I worked 30 corporeal years. I ran with the big dogs, too. I burned out, so I spent 6 years in a laundry mat in Del Mar, where lots of people told me, "You're funny". I'd respond, "Looking!" and they'd laugh more. People told me I should have a show like Rachael Ray or Chelsea Handler. I'd say, "Thanks, my life has been a VERY long running rehearsal for a really funny standup comedy routine😆🤣 I've said that line so many times BUT, have I written a single joke about my numerous HILARIOUS personal tragedies, Hell No. YOU KICKED MY AS TODAY, MEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I MUST DO IT NOW, OR HAVE NO PEACE OF MIND! YOU HAVE MOVED ME FORWARD🥰 Coincidentally, last night my hubby & I made a pact to stop drinking. Somehow after your podcast today, I'm not Earnest f-ing Heminway. I won't drink again until I publish something somewhere. I know it. Hoping I'll feel SO good I won't want alcohol. Hey Kathleen! I advice you take the 3-part training called Take Control, linked in the description; I did, I already knew part of the answer but I guess it would really help you find out, even if you have no clue right now. This program is for free, it only needs time and self investment and it is worth every second you spend on it. I did it as a struggling neurodivergent single mom, with huge financial issues, I won't pretend my life is now perfect, but it has improved and I can see my path now. Go for it, really. And if you feel like it is not enough, you need to search further, maybe you could also listen to Jay Shetty's contents, as he did a lot around finding yourself. And have a hug if you need one, I am sure you are fantastic and you will find your way to live rather than survive. Sending you strength and positive vibes.
