My husband is a trucker and got stuck off this road today. Loving husband with 6 kids! Words cant express how relieved i was to see him walk through the door and see our kids run up and hug him! @jillsy2815 wow. All that over somones 2nd amendment rights. That sounds like a very good reason to start reinstating felons civil rights afyer they serve their time. It shouldn't haunt them for the rest of their lives. A lot of people take their second amendment rights very seriously to the point of defending it with deadly force. I'm my opinion, it puts law enforcement at an even greater risk that they have to enforce these laws. Violent felonies are a different story, but still, it seems like this could have been completely avoided.

@@stephenmorring3370in Montana you can still own guns as a felon after a period of good conduct. You have to apply to your county. Superior Court and show 'good cause'

Imagine if the 2nd amendment was fully protected so there weren't any firearm possession charges. I guess law enforcement wouldn't be able to always check up on people then

A dealer at a gun show told us yesterday that in June or July, you will no longer be able to sell a firearm without an FFL license. Private sales included. Another step toward the loss of freedom to own firearms. Unless you happen to be a criminal.
