You wanna know the worst thing? Whenever some idiot asks me to spot him on bench, and ends up trying to show off by just throwing as many plates as he can on, and now I have to set a new deadlift record to make sure this guy doesn't fucking die.

+Jonathan Burton You can not "tone" a muscle. If you want to look shredded and get those muscles popping, you need to lose fat. If you don't have enough overall muscle for the look you would like to achieve, you need to gain some quality muscle. Perhaps a lean bulk is what you're after?

Hey buff dudes. Great vid. I used the advice from this and one of your previous chest vids where you said to do 4 sets of 15, 10, 8 and 8(before i was doing 5 sets of 10 and not increasing the weight)while increasing the weight, and my bench has increased dramatically. Thanks guys

I guess it’s also because cast iron dumbbells are always much smaller than other dumbbell designs. Like when you hold a cast iron 40 vs a rubber coated hex shaped 40, or even a round dumbbell of the same weight. But obv it’s also bc this guy is just *HUGE*

King Mathers What kind of a gym doesn't have a bench press? A gym without a bench press is like a McDonald's that doesn't serve burgers.

Thanks for the help. Been in a gym now 2 years, my arms are much bigger than before, yes, but my chest ain't and it's developing much slower so I've been looking for these now more than ever. Gotta give these a try, the dumbell fly exercise is one of my favourites, but I never knew I was doing them a bit wrong.

Good information as always, but I don't like these misleading and dishonest video titles - just to get views. You are not gonna build a BIG chest fast unless you choose to be a walking pharmacy.

Good tips, I actually learned the time under tension concept naturally, I wouldn't lock out the chest at the top. On the other hand for close-grip press I would lock up at top but not "bottom out" to engage my chest, I kept it all on my triceps
