Sitting for too long creates unneeded tension in your back.
So, try to get up at least once per hour. If you can get up and move twice per hour, that's even better.
Use these three exercises whenever you need to take a quick break during your workday.
If you don't twist and you don't move your back in all it's various directions, you'll get stiffness and immobility.

This is so great for my low back pains agonising for the last 5 months. Physiotherapist gave the stretching and excecesise but I find adding qigong helps the most important movement - re covering the flow of energy and connection between each movement. How often do you recommend this per week? I’m having a lot of lower back tension and my hips are tight and my legs feel heavy

It's best to start your qi gong daily qi gong routine by practicing in small doses over time, to see how you feel. Hope this helps!

@@ConstructiveMinds100 62 yrs old with 2 herniated discs. Qi Gong really helps me stay pain free and very flexible. I own 6 of his videos and have taken in person classes teaching this style for about a yr.
This looks good, but I also have osteoporosis and was told not to round my back. Is that correct?

Hi there, try doing these exercises really slow, they really help. It’s not necessary to do them as fast as Lee does for good results😊
