Wow I'm impressed! Wouldnt change a thing. If I had the 3.8 million, I'd definitely buy it. Could fetch around 3-5k a week easily as a vacation rental. Possibly sleep 8-10 people with pull out couches.

It definitely costs a premium to own in paradise. Key West is one of the highest price per square foot in the Keys. However, you can get a little more bang for your buck on other islands. Thanks so much for watching 😊

@@FLKeysMadeleine retirement in the keys is the plan but for now onwards. Until that time comes, then sell here Miami and see what I can get. How are the Condos??? Reasonable pricing. 400 to 500’s? Look forward to seeing more.

more than a few spaces you could make a "formal" dining room. I saw at least a half dozen places I'd be more than happy to eat! haha

Thats a crazy price from just a few years ago only the wealthy can afford to buy in Key West now...

Is the windows, doors, and sliding doors all hurricane proof? So the house insurance would be cheaper! Great video.

Some are hurricane impact, but not all of them. The insurances would definitely be lower if you add hurricane windows/doors or hurricane shutters (which isn’t as costly as you’d think & saves you a lot down the road). Thanks so much for watching 😊

I'm from NYC where home prices are very high. But 3.8 Million for a regular looking house it's crazy! It's not even on the water. I guess my dreams of living on the keys are not coming true. 😂😂

It's key west. This is a really nice home though. I think 3.8 is kinda high but, someone will end up snatching it up. Especially bc it comes furnished. 😂 there are really nice homes for under 1 million throughout the keys. Personally, I'd rather buy a raised concrete home if I were able to buy in the keys.

Haha, no don’t say that! Key West has some great waterfront homes that aren’t this expensive! This property’s value is the location and the lot size. You’re within walking and biking distance to the beach, downtown fun and entertainment, Old Town historic district, etc. We just sold a large waterfront home in Key West for $3M (check out 3632 Sunrise Dr). However, like the other viewer commented- there are really nice homes outside of KW that are more bang for your buck, plus waterfront! 😊😍 thanks so much for watching yall!

Love your happy presents and your videos. We will be heading to Cutjoe Key in a few weeks. I would love to move to the Keys. Cross my fingers...maybe someday. We've noticed that there are no bathtubs in the Keys. Why? Curious...

I’ve noticed that too! I don’t really know the reason why. I think it’s a couple different things: 1. Lots of empty nesters/retired folks here, showers are more accessible than tubs. (& not a lot of kids in the home usually). 2. Sqft is limited, so it maybe easier to insert a shower. I know for my clients that have small children, we all get very excited when we find one with a tub ha! But I can see both routes. Thanks for watching 🤗

Yeah, Key West is definitely expensive, but you’re within walking and biking distance to all the fun! 😊 There are similar homes further outside downtown that aren’t as expensive though, if you’re interested
