In this video we look at an example output from the dot voting exercise using our Travel Bucket PDS before explaining the next exercise; "Discussion". This section should take 90 minutes to complete and it is important that the time keeper notifies people at 30 minute intervals to make sure everyone has time to discuss each sketch adequately.
You will see how the Travel Bucket dot voting has created a heatmap where some ideas are clearly standing out from the others and warrant additional discussion. The discussion exercise will give each person 3-5 minutes to explain their solution sketches and the ideas behind them (per sketch). Other people who voted on the sketches can weigh in with their thoughts too.
Try not to spend longer than 5 minutes discussing any single sketch to ensure that each sketch gets spoken about and that everyone has an opportunity to contribute. The facilitator should be adding sticky notes beside each sketch to summarise what was said.
