In this video we explain the Homework each participant is required to complete before Day 2 of your Sprint.
Before setting the Homework, the facilitator should quickly recap what you have learned on Day 1 and should reread the Long Term Goal and key areas of focus to ensure continued alignment across the team.
The homework required is for each participant to come up with some screenshots or photos of an app, a product, a process, a work-around that they find inspiring that could prove useful to the task at hand. It doesn't have to be a technology product and it also doesn't have to be positive; including "we definitely don't want this because..." can be equally inspiring for folks. We use the Travel Bucket app to give some examples of the type of content you could look to include as part of your homework.
Each person is expected to come up with 2 - 3 inspirational pieces. Try to ensure they cover the different critical areas of focus on your map if there is more than one. Send your inspiration pieces to the Sprint facilitator before the start of Day 2 so that they have time to organise the board.
