One thing to look for when Banshees won't cold start is that the float bowl is on the correct carburetor. The bowl with the jet in the bottom must go on the carb with the choke, otherwise the choke will not function. People tend to switch them up during a routine carb clean and never notice it.

I used to do the same thing when I was younger, and had a lot of fun doing it. Road trips for quads, bikes etc, fix em up and sell the ones I didn't get attached to. Great hobby, great videos. That dude sounded lit! The prices on the big bore quads is just insane. Reminds me of shopping for a diesel truck this year. I didn't buy one because I knew they were all overpriced. Now they're coming down again. Hopefully ATV's follow suit. If you're flipping machines don't forget to account for your time spent searching classifieds, driving to and from a purchase, licensing, fuel/lube, insurance. We need to get good deals on purchases or it isn't worth doing.

That chain has a few hours on it. Spotted a couple locked links. I'd check to see if the sprockets were replaced and the old chain kept. When the friction areas between the pins and bushing wear and make the chain appear to have stretched, which it doesn't do, using it on new sprockets will quickly wear them out. Still watching and think someone's gonna have a blast with it when you're finished with it.

Great job and lucky on top of that. fantastic price for that machine but for winter get another set of rear wheels and mount some swamp fox tires on them. Should be 115 mm bolt pattern, same as warrior but a few oddballs might have a 156 bolt pattern if it's very early.

They make an adapter for the airbox so you can mount the filter without having to use the lid. Get the throttle thors override kit. And a vacuum gauge so you can sync the carbs.

That guy sounds like he got a DWI. He also said that he smashed his truck and that it was in impound. They don't put vehicles in impound just for a tow (though, with how much he was slurring, he could have actually meant "I was smashed, and have to get my truck out of impound.").

On the 1995 through 1998 the vin numbers are on two places on those where you looked at already.& Where the handle bars go in at to. Like on Honda trail 70& up dirt bikes have on them.

It is a factory replacement frame that's why there is no vin. Those are original 1995 plastics and I know the top end was done recently, but not sure about the bottom. I've owned that quad before

Yeah my race quad doesn't have a vin either because of that. It's weird but yeah the original owner snapped the frame in a gncc race and then went to honda to have it swapped out. The new frame has a serial number listed on the paperwork but no actual vin on that plate in the front where hondas have them.

Little tip, i know the brakes dont work on this one, but when you are unloading a quad,,if you stand on the right hand side you can control the front brake and end reach the rear brake with your hand if needed
