Considering all the aftermarket parts on the bike that’s easy 7k here in California. The front end alone will run you at lest $1500 ( a arms and shocks ) add the rear shock, axle, pipe with head work about the same. So fir $2500 that’s a steal 👍🏽

Hey man, really love your channel and content, also love when you buy new machines to try and fix them, however I noticed you've been buying a lot lately, and there's no follow up. It would be even better to have an episode 2, 3.. etc. I'm sure I'm not the only one to wanna see you go through any project, and not just the beginning of them, even if it doesn't turn into a project and gets sold, let us know! Can't wait for the next part of the Honda you bought with the destroyed engine, or the old snowmobile with the rotten gas tank! Really interesting content whatsoever, and it is just my humble opinion! Also, if you wanna be less bothered while filming your interventions on engines, maybe consider buying a go pro , or using your phone that you could carry on your chest or head, it would avoid you the constant moving of the camera for the right angle before any move on the vehicle!

If that is a stage 3 Hotcams it's - Intake Cam Valve Lash 0.150mm and Exhaust Cam Valve Lash 0.280mm
Great to see you get an easy one from an honest seller. It's difficult to take any seller at their word. The key is don't pay too much just in case the seller is lying out their ass. If it sounds to good to be true it usually is but not always as you well know. I used to fix and flip cars. Too many financial lessons to learn. Off-road vehicles with small engines seems a much better way to go once you understand values. Great channel.
You have come a long way bro since that first video I watched you with that warrior one of your very very beginning videos with the electrical issues keep up the great work bro 💯💯💪

Joe finds an untighted cam CHAIN tightener. Mission accomplished. Finding the cam chain loose was the kicker. Then the stretched chain couldn't stay tight until Joe put an extra turn in the spring. This will soon run out of tension again MAYBE.

Love the videos!
Thats a pretty high compression ratio. I had a bike that was up there too but it ran better on Avgas which I bought from my local airport. ...just a thought.
I recommend changing out that plug going to the CDI box cause those go bad on those Honda four wheeler'e a lot due to getting wet a lot to. I'd use some electrical dilute grease inside of those plugs.& connection contact points to.
You can tell by how surprised he was that it was just a loose bolt causing the leak that hes been told it just needs the carb cleaned to many times
The lesson here is don't have multiple shops and people build anything for you!! It's best to do it you're self. Even of you have to learn as you go!!
I like your style and you have tons of knowledge to share. Thanks buddy, subscribed!
Great video as always
When it says uni cam it means only a single cam compared to some that have the double overhead Cam the early 450s had these still a great motor
I love the sound of the 400 and 450 Honda engines
I am 10 minutes into the video and this thing sounds like a bad idea. Can’t wait to see the rest! You make it look easy!
I'd be suspicious of the porting when the guy doing the job inscribes their work **in sharpie** on the side of the head....lol.
I bought a brand new 2005 trx450r for $5300. Was a very good running quad.
That little turn on the spring done it tp the timing you are a deserve your place on the u tube
Now thats the sell you need to give a Christmas gift too and throw him another 500. He had alot of machines and if u do right thing who's the first person he'll contact for next thing he's selling??? But either way glad to see there is so honest sellers out there like me. Good job Joe on fixing that chain tensioner
Nice pick up for a great price! She's a beast!
Had the same issue on a 2012 cbr1000 I bought last year. Pretty sure It was the same tensioner 😂 Love a free fix
I bought a Honda fourtrax 300 off this guy last winter! 😂
The grips are ODI Rouge lock-on grips. I have them on my Raptor 660
At Last an other 05 trx450r, i'm excited!!
Nice quad,13 to one, it may not run very well on pump gas, . Hope all is good.
Hurry up, can't wait to see it ripping around, I'm expecting at least 3 woohoos 😅
Around here they are 4k CAD+ bone stock, got ridiculous during covid and prices haven't went backup down for the 450s. That's a decent price for what you have I believe.
That custom sub frame looks good!
I think the sprocket guard is bling star same as the nerf bars. Still good deal overall👍👍👍
The only thing that concerns me is that the tensioner is maxed out and will not be able to keep the chain tight if it stretches out anymore. I know that changing the timing chain sucks but I think you are just prolonging the inevitable replacement with the tensioner adjustment. Other than that you got an excellent find.

Well done!
Looks like it's worth 2500-3000. Probably why he was selling it for 2500-3000.
Is that timing chain new or used, looks like a hell of a lot of play, don't want to be heavy in the throttle and it slips, your gonna be ass out. Just be mindful of tolerances. They're there for a reason, so they won't take too long to swap out. Great bike, though. Keep up the great work and vids!

Sweet ride!
You never got a po box or I'd sent you a big gun cdi. Bought for project but wasn't the issue. Great video
Perfect bike to find youngster at local track that fast on clapped out bike and support him for a season you just don't know till help out
Think they make an aftermarket tensioner with like a bolt adjuster that you can tighten manually now that I'm thinking I think since them tensioner are hydraulic n often have top end oiling issue after rebuild they don't ever work right
You can clean a stator, the metal ends just be careful, it'll clean nice with a little brake clean and some scotch brite.
Did you ever think there was no coolent because he never got that far after he got it in time. From the previous owner that rebuilt it.makes sense to me
I can't wait till you start doing what I think you call street bike's i have a YZFR125 I hear there is not many in the U.S. but they have an EFI engine and I hear they are the most complicated 125s they have the same engine as the MT125 I had to change my first engine water had gotten into the engine and ruined my bottom and top ends the conrod was bent and wasn't able to replace the water pump seals was good and couldn't work out how water had got in if you start doing my type of bike I have some spares I could send oil filters plastics wheels ect I tend to buy too many extra spares and would willingly send them over as love how you explain things as you go I was going to get rid of my bike but it owes me double what it's worth and it is my first bike I am legal on and own I would say anyone come to me with a kx125 in good condition I'd have to really think about it as before owning this bike I wanted a 2stroke dirt bike to trail ride
I had an 09red trx450r it had stage 3hot rod crank stage 3hot rod cam wisco 13 5 to 1as well with stage 3dirt digger clutch kit and Ferrara vavles pro comp 10stage ecu thing did 160kph was nuts 5th gear wheelies all day
😉You could easily double your money $$ on this one dude! Your knowledge is vast, and good save on that timing chain tensioner.
Tell him that you got the timing problem fixed and that nothing was bad he will probably be pissed LOL
Oh and great job !!
Can you do another sled but like a newer one like I see a lot of Polaris rmks that don’t run
Would u like to do a video on my 2003 triumph speed four.... it's fuel injected and is really hard to start when cold... and when it does finally want to start it has a ticking noise coming from somewhere in the engine

Sweet quad ... nice that you got one thatll make you some $$$ ... itll make up fer the ones that become money pits
Awesome deal brother
My 700xx is fully stock so it must not have many hours on it for it to still run good with no knocks or ticks but damn that 450 sounds better
if the manucturer warranty is still good on the motor, changing the valves probably nullifies it.
i never owned one im real old but you really inspired me get one
I have a Honda 300 four trax in perfect condition... Their classic four wheelers & Durable didn't want to part with it but would be willing to swap it for more speed. So if you're looking to trade for one of your quads.
