I watch y'all's videos as if I've never been in a cruise😂 I haven't been on many at all.... but I still watch them because I learn something new every time.... I'm taking my children on their first cruise in June and I'm more excited than they are lol! I've shown them your videos to prepare them and I DO BELIEVE IT'S WORKING! THANK YOU SOOOOOOO MUCH!!! We're going on a 6 day cruise and they're going to love it!

Same here!! 😂! I’m super excited to take my daughter on her first cruise and up until she watched your videos she couldn’t really understand… now she’s super excited as well! I learned so much from your videos! I really appreciate your efforts you put into them!!

VIFP guarantees you free stuff. Even the 1 liter bottled water that was free was a forgotten surprise and pleasant. It was cold too during bingo. I put it in the fridge too and used there glasses in the room.

I never do an early embarkation. I try to get on when the rooms are ready

Love these videos.

Def use a travel agent. Let the professionals navigate the process. We had a small issue....handled by the TA. Plus, we got shipboard credit and a bottle of 🍾.

Another great point is if you have an enhanced drivers license ( it has a flag on the corner) you can also use that if you don’t have a passport ( this type of license is only given in certain states) but your beginning and ending port has to be in the US. I used my enhanced license about 2 years ago because I didn’t renew my passport on time. I still brought my birth certificate just in case but when I showed her my ID and she said she didn’t need to see my birth certificate

Only five states have enhanced drivers license, sadly. Michigan, Minnesota, New York, Vermont, and Washington.

I actually called Carnival Cruise line and they said if you live in one of those five states and have a OFFICIAL enhanced driver's license they will accept it and that's all you would need to get on the ship no passport or birth certificate needed. But it has to be official.

Just Letting you know, my family and I went on carnival. We did have alcohol.they confiscated . But have it back at the end of the cruise.

OMG! We’re going on our first cruise March 23. We booked a nonstop flight the day of (because we didn’t know). We’re supposed to get there at 9:15 am (2.5 hr flight from Memphis to Miami). I AM SO NERVOUS because all I’ve been hearing is horror stories. I’m praying that nothing keeps us from this cruise, but the next cruise we’ll be there at a day ahead. Fingers crossed on this one! 😢

fingers are crossed for you but honestly if you have a 930 am arrival at most usually you may end up 3 minutes past arrival time they tend to try really hard to make it...and with checkings going until like 1 hour before departure you should be fine but always a possability

ALLIANZ TRAVEL INSURANCE And if you plan to take more than 1 trip a yr like I do, get there annual plan. You pay once and travel worry free all year.

I live in the midwest in the central time zone but cruising out from Los Angeles which is on Pacific Time, shall I be picking my boarding time at 12:00 a.m. Pacific time?

Pre-pay your gratuities if you're able to do so. It eliminates any surprises on your bill at the end of the cruise.

Mostly yes since cruising follows the same blueprint on most things.

i agree completely with the drink package point last july was my first ever cruise me and my husband got the package and yes it was worth it to us.... the way i see it is a bit of peace of mind i am not a heavy drinker but i was able to let loose while on the ship and on top of that i am a major coffee drinker and being able to get spiked coffee every morning was wonderful for me

I know the website says the cruise must be paid in full if you’re paying through Uplift/payments however I was able to book it with a 9 month payment plan (cruise in July, paid off by next March) Something to keep in consideration. Credit score is above 700 though, idk if it matters.

What? I have never heard that. I thought elegant night was something different than the white party. Neither dress is white.

Whenever we prepay the gratuity they charge us again on board and we have to go to guest service and stand in the long line to have the second gratuity charge removed and I always get the feeling of being judge like we are trying to get out of paying the gratuity 😢

Tea, lemonade, tap water is free. Breakfast oj, apple, some others like fruit punch and cranberry juice change everyday is free. Soda, bottled water, virgin drinks, there is a Cafe with muffins and frappe or lattes all cost money

First time cruiser here: I have the carnival hub app. It gives me the option to buy general cash or entertainment cash before boarding. Is this the same as loading your sail card with cash to spend? Also, if I purchase this ahead of time are they going to put a hold on my debit card used to buy the general cash for the sail card?

I dont like how they only sell 8x10s. And to buy 5x7s, you have to buy the 8x10 plus 2-5x7s. Digital prints same price as printed photos. They need more options for photos.

Without knowing the entire details. It could be that the room category you are trying to change to is a different price and there’s no way around it. Midship is more expensive for example.
