I took my first cruise February of last year and I was nervous also but I have watched several of their videos and even went back and re-watched the first time video and what to pack. My family and I were very prepared and had a wonderful time. This content definitely attributed to that. Enjoy your sailing!

Just went on our 1st cruise Jan 15 to the 19 on Liberty to Neassau and Princess Cays. We had a blast. We learned we need to get the drink package because at 15 a drink when you buy 4 it pays for its self. We prepaid our gratuity. We didnt eat at the buffet, but we did get the seaday brunch and it was great. The only problem we had was our luggage was delivered to the wrong room. We went with a cash account, and im glad we did, because I heard so many people at guest services complaining about holds on their account.

I’m an avid cruiser but every time I watch your channel I learn something new! I see yall almost to 100k! Lets goooooo 🙌🏾🙌🏾

Me and the fiancé had our first cruise this past December on the dream. Prepaid grats, and drink package, and excursions. Despite 1 port getting cancelled and cancelled excursions, nothing could stop us! Y’all helped us out so much. We had a BLAST. Ate so much food, didn’t have a worry in the world. Booking our next one in the next few months. Thank y’all so much for all the tips and tools to have a successful trip!

First time commenting but we love your videos! Thank y’all for sharing! These were tips I needed 3 cruises ago lol! We missed out on so much on previous cruises but on our recent NYE cruise on the Dream (Galveston), we prepaid for all shore excursions and dining (The Chef’s Table) as well as prepaying for the gratuities and that was a lifesaver! We also were able to enjoy sea day brunch on all sea days lol. We had the time of our lives! We’ll be using the tips on our Thanksgiving cruise on the Jubilee!

I’m going on my first cruise to Mexico on the Firenze for my birthday in October! 7 days woo! Going with my husband and his grandpa, and we also invited my husband’s sister & boyfriend so I’m sure it’ll be a blast! We wanted to start traveling but on a budget (who isn’t lol!) so I’m grateful for your videos! Very informative! We weren’t sure last year when we booked about the room but I’m glad we got a balcony cabin and it’s in the middle of the ship towards the middle end so we should be good. Thankfully I also have non drowsy motion sickness meds!

So true about using a TA. I booked first time cruisers and I educated them on everything from checking in for their trip to disembarkment. Travel Insurance is a must! I had to cancel one of my cruises last year and received a refund from Carnival within 2 days! The best advice I give them is to not sweat the small stuff.

That booking at the last minute got me spoiled 😩. I have only been on one cruise and my husband and I both agree best vacation ever. While looking for another cruise we booked a cruise that went out the next day and it was $160…for both of us ocean view. But, ima go the travel agent route because I really feel like y’all have the best deals!

TIP 14 STORY: I got off the ship and male offered me nookie in his van. I walked 2.5 miles to the beach. Male offered me tickets to party start at 230am. Clubs close at 2am everywhere. Male offered a ride on parasail. He said 1 dollar to go up 39 to come down. It was actually 40 dollars cash tip for his joke.

Planning our first family cruise in June 2024. I really enjoyed this video; I will definitely take your advice and tips. I'm so nervous to plan this but I have been putting it off for years and I really want to do it this year!!!! The only problem I am having is finding a cabin that fits 5 people, 2 adults and 3 children. I could call and do it by phone, but I want to see what is being booked beforehand since it's our first time and I have no idea what the cabins are located. Would you being willing to do a video for cruiser that have 3 or 4 children or 5 or more in one cabin. I didn't see many videos like this!!!!

Yes, it has to be non surge protected. Honestly the fan thing depends on you personally. We do and do not know anyone personally that does.

Question, what if I use cash to fund my sign and sail card and I don't use it all.

Appreciate your videos and advice, i've definately learned alot and feel comfortable going forward with our trip. We have our first cruise coming up in Feb. Carnival Celebration, Cozumel, Costa Maya, Mahogany bay. Could you clarify the passport question? My understanding as a "closed loop" cruise is that the passport is not necessary. Birth Cert. and updated DL should be sufficient correct? Travel partners are concerned i wont be able to get off the ship at these ports. From my research and understanding, i am not concerned. Passport not a requirement for this particular cruise.

I have capsule jewelery for traveling, dont bring valuables. Dont be late. I got back on the ship at 3 and we left 530pm.

I booked insurance through carnival and when I had to cancel my cruise which was less than 24 hours they didn’t give me my money back. And the insurance was a waste of time. I had to fill out all kinds of paper work to prove why I needed to cancel which was insane. I NEED a travel agent!

Google it. It looks like Starbucks and McDonalds. Check with your cell company if they offer an international plan. ATT has one for 10.00 per day and 5 for the second phone if on the same plan. They only charge you if you use your phone.( It’s more secure than free WiFi).Remember this is just for in port. Remember to put back on the airplane mode once your back on the ship. Have a great trip.

My advise would be to contact Carnival and have them contact the ADA department.

I have a question, the day you arrive to one of the island ports, do you need to bring your passport with you off the ship just just incase you accidentally do get left behind or how does that work?
