Are these accidents human mistakes, or are they caused by supernatural horrors? We’ll let you be the judge. Check out the these cursed movies (and our photo credits and sources) and don’t forget to leave a comment on the video letting us know which of these movies you’ve seen in theaters:

There are many movies that have a reputation of being cursed. Most of them are horror movies like The Possession - a movie based on a real box that’s supposedly possessed, The Innkeepers - a movie on a haunted inn, and Poltergeist - a movie about the supernatural consequences of disturbing people’s resting place. However, not all cursed movies are horror movies. Take Waterworld for example, it’s not a horror movie but with everything it went through, you could almost argue it was cursed. Then there’s Batman: The Dark Knight, it also had its fair share of tragedies. Probably one of the most surprising ones is the Wizard of OZ. So much bad things happened while making this movie and afterwards that it makes you wonder. On today’s list, we are going to show you 25 most cursed movies ever filmed.

    The whole thing was a scam cooked up by Ronald DeFeo's defense lawyer to get his client out of prison. Author Jay Anson sued them all over the affair. And finally, YES, Ed and Lorraine Warren were complete frauds.

  • @CassandrashadowcassMorrison

    @CassandrashadowcassMorrison

    5 жыл бұрын

    The family never said they lied about it. What they said was that the MOVIE (the first one) highly exaggerated certain things (which they did) and the remake went even further in that direction. None of the sequels to the original book or film had anything to do with the Lutz Family or their story. George Lutz died in 2006 at age 59 www.nytimes.com/2006/05/11/obituaries/11lutz.html while his wife, Kathy, died two years earlier at age 54. Neither of them denied the story at any time. As for Ed and Lorraine Warren, they had nothing to do with the book and were not part of the story until after the Lutz's moved out. As for Ronald DaFeo Jr whose lawyer was supposed to have thought up this "hoax" in order to get his client off. He had already been convicted, sentenced, and incarcerated for his crimes before the Lutz's even bought the house. Nor could their story have helped him in any way even in a re-trial since our Criminal Codes do not recognize "The Devil Made Me Do It" as a defense...even assuming the court would have listened to any such evidence in the first place. Which is doubtful. They certainly didn't admit it in the case of Arnie "Cheyenne" Johnson from "The Devil in Connecticut" case which the Warrens WERE involved with as it went down and were prepared to testify for the defense but the Judge ruled "demon possession" inadmissible as a defense. And that was in 1981...only four years after the Amityville Horror story broke. Get a grip, people, Ric Osuna and similar "Professional Deniers" live in a very small world where they cannot admit anything that shakes their certainties or challenges their egos. They will rewrite the facts, misquote witnesses, and do everything they can to deny that something doesn't fit into the nice little box they call the world. They are far from being open minded investigators willing to consider all the evidence before making a decision. The paranormal ist verboten. Reminds one of the Government's Mandate on Operation Grudge (The Air Force UFO Investigation before the more famous Blue Book) "Any answer is acceptable as long as it doesn't include aliens."

    The tragedy about Judy Garland was during the filming of Oz, she was fed drugs to keep her awake and thin. She continued on drugs because she was dependent on them. If you ever get the chance to watch her performances in the late 60s, you can see how shaky she was. So her overdose was accidental.

    You are dead wrong about George Reeves! He played Superman in a TV series, not movies and he was not typecast. He died while the TV series was still in production so he had no life after the role and thus didn't have the opportunity to be typecast. He did die of a gunshot wound, so you got that part right.

    You should have added the fact that Judy Garland was treated horribly on the set of Wizard of Oz, wearing an unbearable corset, being forced to take drugs to stay thin and on a strict diet. She blames this experience for making her addicted. Also the wires for the flying monkeys scenes snapped, injuring the actors/stunt people. Additionally, when Margret Hamilton refused to do a stunt after what happened to her, her stunt double did it, the prop broom exploded and injured her

    Buddy Ebsen was on the Beverly Hillbillies, and some detective show, called Barnaby Jones. Robert Wagner was Natalie Wood's husband who allegedly let her die on their boat Splendor. Natalie was making the movie Brainstorm with Christopher Walken. Robert and Natalie were fighting over an affair with Christopher Walken. Natalie was drunk, and fell off the Splendor. This story has been on the front page of many pulp newspapers since it happened, in 1981 or so. A very sad story, and it is trotted out every year or so when there isn't much going on.

    it's a cool idea for a listicle, but if you think about it, you could do a video essay on the connection between casting decisions and actor personalities. maybe there's a more earthly reason why the kind of actors that get cast in creepy movies are also the kind of people that creepy stuff happens to.

    During filming The Wizard of Oz, Judy Garland was allowed only soup and black coffee to "keep her thin". For the same reason she was made to smoke 80 cigarettes a day. She was also put on a lot of amphetamines and often drugged with a barbiturate. This lead to a life-long addiction that eventually killed her. She was also repeatedly sexually assaulted by the actors who played the munchkins.
