Thanks Bobcat! I just saw your 6.5 Creedmoor reloading video. Suggestion for a quicker bullet seating set up. 1. A dummy round (without powder or primer) seated to the depth you want for future loaded rounds. 2. Back out your seating plug, place the dummy round in the press and run the ram up, hold and then screw the seating plug lightly down until you feel it touch the bullet. 3. No further adjustment is needed on your to be loaded cartridges after that. 4. Mark the dummy round for future reference for that bullet only of course.

@@davestrohmeyer-saddleupsho8009 Dave. Thanks very much. I will do that. That will save me a lot of time and headache. That will give me something to do tomorrow plus there are several other rounds I need to do that for as well. Again, thanks much I really appreciate your reloading experience. Take care and keep up the good work!

Those are great tips and something I had not given much thought too...I guess I need to pick those tools up too. I just ordered a Hornady concentricity gauge to up my game a bit. Whoever said this reloading thing would save me money is just flat wrong...LOL. Cheers

Great information Dave. When I think through a process, I try to slow the process down into individual steps. Then, think through each step by itself and how it interacts with the other steps. It seems there is always a way to improve efficiency of the steps and a total process.

I have not seen the mechanical attachment for the flash hole uniformer for my Lyman case prep express. You are right though and I should have mentioned these two tool only need to be used once for the life of the case. Thanks for watching.

I am glad you are feeling well. Also happy that Federal is taking care of you. They are just 21 miles from me in Minneapolis in the northwest metro and I have a friend of a friend that works there. Now I won't have to harrass him next time I see him. 😂 Let's hope they admit it was a poor lot and ship you some fresh quality catridges.

I've always carefully prepped my cases because if I'm going to spend the time to reload I always do the best job I can. It's rewarded in the end with consistent velocity and consistent accuracy. Rest up, load up and we'll see the results when the weather gets warmer. It's been down to -10 here last week and this morning 0 in WI. Not the best for accuracy shooting.

Get better soon! I have a board with holes the necks fit in to go in sonic cleaner for times I've trimmed brass in any which way...a rinse gets most out...but a sonic clean with the cases upside down...neck down...always produces a bit more of the trimmings....which won't be blasted down the barrel... I do wonder how much difference all these little changes make...😅
