when i heard that 24 was getting a new season i was so hyped, still hyped, still hugging box set collections of the previous seasons XD

+PorkChop Review Yeah I can say whatever I want about 24, I still watched 8 seasons in about 8 days and I'll probably watch everything that has something to do with the 24 franchise :)

I love that Tony is coming back in full force. I'm so hyped for it and it's around the corner!! Tony looks badass in a that beard he rocks. Hoping this is a success.

If anything has "executive" before it, it means anything apart from what you think it is.

I didn't even get to watch "Live another Day". I should though.

+niTe Yeah, it's not great but it will give you your Jack Bauer fix. And it does have some very cool ideas in it.

A 24 spinoff without Jack? DAMN IT CHLOE!

I loved the original series staring Sunderland, when I heard there would be a spin off without Bauer I was like "DAMMIT" but after watching the 1st episode of Legacy I think it definitely has potential 👍

Ive only seen the 1st episode so far it's early days but I think I'll continue watching the series to see what it's saying mind you I do miss Jack tho.

Also Jack is playing the president of the united states on another new show, which is, you know, funny. And also there's a little surprise at the end of the video.

The specials was funny. Lol. I can wait for the reboot. Hope it will be good. I will miss Jack however I hope it will be good without the old cast.

Maybe they should get John Boyega as the lead:) After all he was in Live Another Day.

+XviD Best case scenario: it's a good show on it's own, it uses the 24 format well, the hero really is different enough to make us feel it's not just a Jack Bauer wannabe. Worst case scenario: It's a tired rehash money-grab that's just trying to lazily capitalize on our love for the franchise. It's probably going to be a little bit of both of these things, but one more than the other. Let's hope it's the right one!

Binge Watchers Yeah let's hope! When thinking about it I could see some cool potential here if they do it right.

They hired a black dude, so what? Using the race of you're cast members to promote the show is so fucking dumb. And I'd imagine the actor in question doesn't appreciate being reduced to just his race in the marketing of the show (at least I wouldn't). Yes we're all glad that racism is not as prevalent as it used to be, but this is getting ridiculous. The races of the actors are in no way indicatory of whether or not the movie/show will be any good.

Agreed, the race of the actor/actress should not make a difference. I am a classic film fan and yesterday while watch a movie on TCM. For the intro the host stated back in on Hollywood if an actor had an accent no matter the race. The head of the studios would cast act to play all races. For example, French actors would play Mexican, Native Americans, etc.
