24 Hours of STREET FOODS in Armenia 🇦🇲 Non-Stop ARMENIAN FOOD Tour in Yerevan!!

This is my first time to the beautiful country of Armenia. This country, and it's people, know how to eat! We're taking you on a 24 hour STREET FOOD tour in the capital city of Yerevan. Today we will learn about the long and complicated past of this small landlocked country. From the rich history to the devout religion of its people. Armenia has a lot to learn about, and we will be learning about that together in today's episode.
Our menu for the day includes homemade "msho dolma" a dish originating from "western Armenia" or present day Turkey. Bulgar and chopped beef is wrapped in a vine leaf to create an incredibly delicious bite. Next up it's off to see how traditional Armenian gata is made. After what feels like endless free samples at Yerevan's famous GUM Market we head to Vostan restaurant to taste more traditional Armenian cuisine including melt-in-your-mouth lamb.
CHAPTERS :
0:00-0:50 Intro
0:50-4:23 Yerevan Sightseeing
4:23-8:32 Dolma Making
8:32-11:41 Eating Dolma
11:41-15:16 Echmiadzin

The Yerevan Square is very cultural and beautiful, and it’s really suitable for taking pictures! I like that lady’s laughter, it feels so friendly! Her cooking skills are great, and the handmade Fettuccine made with that traditional pasta maker must be delicious! That Lavash roll is very attractive to me, no, I should say that every delicacy is very attractive to me, haha! But the most important thing is the desserts. After watching the production process, I feel that Armenian desserts are works of art! Thank you so much for sharing the history of Armenia, may the beautiful woman who was stoned to death and the casualties in the past rest in peace! Thank you very much for introducing Armenian food and the enthusiasm of Armenian mothers, what a great job! 👍🥰🙏

My country, I love it. God willing I will retire there... I also was very closed minded as an American/Armenian. No no no... It is super safe country. People love people and you feel at home everywhere you go. One of the kindest people I ever met in mylife.. What country can you go to pull up in the country part and families invite you in for dinner.. That is how Armenians are. They love people and love entertaining. You will not go hungry in any Armenian home

Stalin’s statue was torn down after he died and way before Soviet Union fell apart . Armenians, just like other Soviet republics , lost thousands of people to Stalins’ death marches , so they did not wait long to get rid of that bloodsuckers’ statues . By the way , Stalin was the one who gave Armenian lands Nakhichevan and Nagorno Karabakh to then newly formed Azerbaijan ( there was never such country before) , setting in motion the conflict that takes lives still today .

The sour lavash you've tested is made from plum. Apricot one is sweet. Great tour. Visit our great country again. Thanks

Парень видно очень доволен и видимо хвалит армянскую национальную кухню но не сообразили перевести на армянский язык или субтитры по русский , чтобы узнать его впечатление.

I love your Canadian accent (the "ou" phonemes are probably Scottish in origin)! You probably know more about international cuisines then anyone else on earth. "Been there. Tasted that . . ." It's existential, not cook book stuff! Long may you reign . . .

If you visit the Gum market and get different samples of food then it is unwritten rule that you should buy something from that kiosk. It is generally a bad look to go, taste a bunch of food and leave without buying something ;)
