To clarify further for the projector / image: 1. I'm not a tech wizard, just some guy in his garage figuring this stuff out. 2. Since I livestream I have to project at 1080p even for the golf simulator since I pull that feed into OBS (want it to look good for you guys). Check out 24/7 GOLF and subscribe! Cheers!

I have mine set up in garage as 4:3 ratio and love it, fills screen and to the floor. If we ever wanted to watch movies in there, I would simply switch to wide screen, though we watch on a 75 inch TV, which is perfect with the indoor theatre chairs in family room. Guess everyone has their own preference. Keep up the videos. Fun to watch. Maybe darken room a bit.

I’ve been doing some research and messing around with my projector and figured out I can force aspect ratios through the projector itself. So turns out I think I can make it fill most of the screen also. Will probably do a video on it because it was always very confusing to me. Cheers!

Pretty easy fix for projection on screen. You can move the projector back and switch it to a 4:3 aspect ratio. Plus it would help get the projector away from wedge shots.

Question for you though. That would then also result in my game resolution to be 4:3? Or could I still pull the 1080p resolution for my live stream feed? And then what about other video sources?

What is you ceiling height? Any issues?

Ceiling height is 8 feet 6 inches. I'm 6 feet tall. I've never hit the ceiling with a club all the way up through driver, but it does make me a bit nervous. I would say I can swing up to a 5 wood confidently. I've had a couple friend's nip the ceiling with their longer clubs so it does depend on the swing a bit. Generally I would say at least 9 feet of height would be ideal. Hope that helps, cheers!
