This thing looks like it wants to make a deal for my soul! Amazing and beautiful piece of engineering! I love it!
Tom dont build engines. He builds works of art. Love your engines and your channel
The pure beauty and complexity of this motor is very impressive. They really paid attention to detail. Congrats
Thank you for sharing this video with the world. Your passion for tuning engines is greatly admired by many.
Watching the engine shake after the dyno cuts the gas, puts a smile on my face.
imagine how big one of these would look in the engine bay of a little Vega. Priceless.LOL. Tom Nelson is a true engine master.
An absolute work of art! I need one!
That engine looks like a work of art.
Those harnesses are genius.
the 69 Camaro, oh my god! its my dream car, sexy black everywhere, comfortable interior and power to knock out any vehicle on the road, and of course the sound system, soo nice. Its hard to imagine being able to drive to the shops with 2000hp on tap. NRE, the god of engines
thats amazing stuff..... just want to keep watching and watching....
i never see you soooo happy with your new engines..... i cant wait to see this motor blowing streets into a camarooooooo
Wow....Really nice motors! im putting that on my wish list for sure.
Tears of joy.
Simply amazing
ok this is amazing! i want to somehow put this engine into a lotus exige frame
BEAUTIFUL
these guys are ...from scratch...building their own blocks...and they are proven outstanding
pure awesomeness
I'm in love !
love it !
i love it when turbo pipes turn red
WOW...that is what i call engineering!
if you look for it on YT,there is multiple parts of the building of the VEYRON,and they mention exactly that.
That isn't an engine. That's art.
632 bbc omg this is nutssss
Those turbochargers are HUGE!!! =o
I COULDNT HELP BUT START PARTYING AT 1:25 WOOHOO!
Sparks from the headers
I'm assuming that the head gasket wasn't up to operating temp yet, allowing it to leak. This engine runs pretty hot so i'm sure that it's engineered that way. The SR-71 blackbird would leak fuel during take off and had to be refueled once it was airborne. Engineering is amazing.
that´s what i bought for my Prius !:D
.....and the Beast's "EYES" glowed....
That fuel reg setup is flippin brilliant ...Im saying brilliant and Im not even from europe.....that means its freakin BRILLIANT!!!
Thats a nice engine to put on those turbos
Great Boat motor!!
nice motor
Sweet
nice one
That engine looks like an alien
insane
Remember that when they build the VEYRON engine,it was producing over 3000 HP?the roof of the building almost caught on fire and the dyno broke.
I want it!
wow hope good running long time engine
Jeremey needs to review one of these in TopGear
its so high already then the turbos spool and it jumps 800HP wow!
Amazing i think im in love with this , only one small thing and it might be just me but does it push out a little water on the right hand bank at 00:10 ?
Scary!!!
got this engine on ma bicycle, everytime when i give gas i make a backflip
BAD ASS HELL YEAH>>>>>>!
This engine make more power at idle that my Honda in Vtec !
I want this motor. I don't know what I'd put it in... but i want it.
I'd love to see what this goes into.
O.O at the ~1000 hp gain just from turbos spooling up 8:33
Either the air/water intercooler or the water from the cooling system of the dyno.
@dalesalsa if you really look at it...the beautiful thing about this is the relative low tech vs functionality that NRE does. Quality parts and obviously...god-like machining skills. This really dont have nearly all the gizmos and electronic garbage like most supercars have.Drop this puppy in a Bugatti Veyron or any top level hypercar...that would be truly scary! I dig NRE. Ever since i watched the RX-7 from hell, ive been hooked.Id definitely throw a Buick Grand Nat. his way someday.
HELL YEA, i would do it.
so This is exactaly what I need for my golf cart , when could I get one . Is there a waiting list ?
Tom, should go for the fastest street car title, that Hot Rod magazine puts on every year. I think Larry Larsen in a 66' Nova has the record at a 6.96 / 212 MPH running BBC turbo..?
Any thoughts on putting this set up into a jet boat?
how is the reliability of these engines? and how is the fuel effiency? noticed 2200 rpm @ idle. (thinking of the street driving side of the engine)
Im curious as to what kind of transmission you run.
IF YOU WANT TO FIT IT, IT WILL FIT ! money can do anything.
You should work for NASA!! The need a guy like you!!
Pretty redonkeless!!!
what is the liquid that shoots out of the cylinder head area at 12 seconds on the right side rear?
do you also sell motor mount kits and a FWD conversion so i can put this in my honda civic?
America, Fuck yeah
saw the fluid out the side
your right I forgot to add cost half the price
It's actually the left head. And yeah, I see it. It's definitely something. Maybe a coolant leak somewhere?
1:23 looks like one of those flying terminators
TopFuel engines would normally have this if they weren't solid blocks. They are pretty much hydrolocked during their 4 second life. A good way to remove this issue is to hace the head be a machined part of the block, but then there is no way to cool the cylinders.
is this for the Dagger GT-LS?
It's a nuclear beast O.O
SO SHINEY!! ME WANTS!
"Look at this torquey ass Muthafuckaaaaah" LMFAO!
you can see coolant pissing outta the block on the right side of the engine just under the exhaust manifold in the beginning of the video,
10.3L fucking torque curve most be beautiful!
What is leaking at 00:10 ? I think he blew the headgasket, looks like coolant spraying from the rear right of the block, LOL. And i just barely see something on the left side of the engine, towards the front at around 00:20 . Still jealous though.
at 8:55 it was idling at around 1000-1100 rpm. Not 2200rpm
yes ...its hard to replace cubes...but to fit a 12 in a car is a feat in its self....every thing internal has to be smaller for it to fit
I want this motor in the back seat of my prius lmao. No one would see it coming
Can that same setup be done on LAX motor
what was leaking out at 0:10 ?
can you fit anti lag to this?
possibly splash from the water-break dyno?
i assume it makes a less dramatic rpm drop from red lines to idle
anyone see the liquid shooting out bottom right under the exhaust manifold? any ideas what it was?
It's on both sides. Looks like the head is lifting from the block from all the power.
whats pissing from the bottom of the right head in the beginning?
How many MPG does it get?
Mother of god ^^ how much does one of these engines cost?
A Yugo!
i was thinking the back of a smart car. you could do wheelies everywhere at anytime
damn that engine is nasty
@stlchevy95 if its not in a car how can you compare?
starting at 00:10 you can see what looks to be water shooting at of the bottom of the right hand side of the motor from this view. I would like to know what that is. To me that is a blown head gasket or bad plug. if someone could clear that up that would great. thank You
Dear GOD O_o That thing produces more horsepower at idle than my Mitsubishi Lancer '93 at full throttle...
damn look how red it gets
Who's got the marshmallows? Header s'mores :)
