The 2025 MINI Countryman electric offers two distinct powertrain options, catering to different driving preferences and lifestyles. It starts with a 204 horsepower variant and it goes up to 313 horsepower in the SE ALL4.
We went to Portugal to test the driving dynamics of the 2025 MINI Countryman SE. We put the car to test on some curvy roads, but of course, we also focus on the city driving experience and comfort.
Lastly, we talk about the redesign of the new Countryman, interior space, technology and more.

I don’t like that BMW now makes cars that accelerate slower than your average random Chinese competitor. Remind me again, what are we paying the premium price for?

I guess brand value....😅 Here in India bmw x1 has 1.5L 3 cylinder that makes 130hp.. kia seltos makes 150hp and it's priced 75% lesser money than bmw x1... There's huge chance bmw will stick the same 130hp for Indian variant of countryman 2024 and ask more money... Yes, bmw x1 and mini in India are priced more than Europe..its almost 10~20% high in price... Better to wait for audi q3 or go for benz gla...

MINI EVs are manufactured by Great Wall Motor in Zhangjiagang, China. So your estimates were not far off.

@@WSOJ3 Only 50% true. The electric Countryman is manufactured in Leipzig, Germany. The new electric Mini Cooper is the Chinese Great Wall Motors platform joint venture.
