This is a tough one. Washington is a really good program..I also see the warning signs for this coming season. One or 2 games can flip the season..In this new age of college football..no end result would suprise me. This may be one that you later eat some crow on.

I personally think Washington beats Indiana and Rutgers and goes 7-5.

Washington gets USC later in the season which is good for them. I can see Washington beating a depleted USC team.

This is going to be a rough year for Washington 😐 Not gonna lie, I'm gonna miss watching those late night PAC 12 games where both teams could run the score up into the 40s and you never knew who was going to win until the last second of the game

We’ve been 12-0, 0-12, 11-1, 1-10, & 12-2 and 14-1 in my lifetime. Our variance is so high, but this feels like a 6 or 7 win team this year. Weber state, EMU, Wazzu, NW, Indiana, UCLA with Rutgers being a possible win. I fully expect Dan Lanning running up the score in hate week as he’s now 0-3 against Washington.

This year is going to be a massive adjustment with Washington going to the big ten, much talent leaving, and Debour leaving. I’m also not completely sold on Washington’s new head coach. I have Washington going 7-5 with losses to Michigan, Iowa, USC, Penn State, and Oregon.

As a huskies fan I’d be very happy with 7 wins. I do like Fisch a lot he’s a great recruiter. DeBoer is a stud and we’ll miss him, but I get it. He’ll be elite at Bama just like he has been everywhere.

No one has a higher ceiling and lower floor on any given year in the Power 2 conferences. I’ve seen 12-0, 0-12, 12-2, 1-10, 11-1, & 14-1 in my lifetime 😂 When we’re bad, we’re realllllly bad.

I got them going 5-7 Wins against Weber State, Eastern Michigan, Washington State, Northwestern, and Michigan (my hot take).

Please go a PSU prediction next although I know pretty much from yours so far what it's going to be like... Losses against OSU and some random team... But I really think because PSU gets OSU at home this year they might have a chance... Not saying they will win because they haven't since 2016... the last time I was there but I will also be there for this game :)

I just don't think they can solve their issues at filling gaps on defense. *ichigan basically telegraphs they are running and Washington looked clueless.

I would be surprised if they missed a bowl entirely, although I didn’t see TCU missing one last year so who knows. I think Will Rogers is a good QB.

Lou, if you can get Washington win total at 7 games, bet the house on the Under!! The only way you lose the bet is if Washington wins 8 or more games. If you are correct and Washington goes 2-2 against Washington State, Rutgers, Indiana, and UCLA, then Washington would have to go 3-2 against Michigan, @Iowa, USC, @Penn State, and @Oregon to get to 8 wins. No way Washington wins 3 of those 5 games. You got them going 0-5 in those games. And even if you are wrong about Indiana or Rutgers and Washington wins one of those games, Washington would still have to go 2-3 against Michigan, Iowa, USC, Penn State, and Oregon. Bet the UNDER Washington 7 wins; I don't care what the juice is!!

5-7; agree. FanDuel has their win total at 6.5, but juiced heavily to the Over (-145). The Under 6.5 is +118. I think I'm going to jump on that Under 6.5 at plus money! Yeah, I can see 6 wins, but 7 wins, no. The only way Washington gets to 7 wins is if they beat Rutgers, Indiana, AND UCLA. They are not winning all three of those games in my opinion. And they still would have to beat Washington State and Northwestern..

5-7 or 6-6 is probably what everyone will predict. Most of that is because Jedd Fisch.

Im never taking Rutgers seriously. They got lucky their schedule was easy last season. Until they beat OSU,Michigan, or Penn St then they are still below average.

Rutgers had the second hardest schedule in the country and won 7 games. This isn’t the same Chris Ash team that Washington played a few years ago.

Sup lou, love the prediction series this summer, only thing i wanna correct is the USC qb thing.. Miller Moss is our Vandergriff, our max duggan, a guy who has been here before riley and sat behind Caleb, and learned under riley. He is gonna be a stud this year, mark my words. Hope to see your USC predictions soon, i say 11-1 is ceiling, 7-5 floor.9-3 most likely

Pretty good predictions. Im guessing 7W which includes victories at Rutgers and Indiana. Last year, in the final mins at husky stadium, Fisch’s AZ team was ahead, driving, and ready to take down the huskies, but AZ’s freshman qb threw a short pass to a dawg cb who retuned it 90 yards for a pick six. 😅 dawgs win. Hoping for that kind of thing this year too, but in favor of Fisch.

Wow you go from being number 2 to barrel scrap. That's so weird seemed to me when I watched college football teams when I was young in 70 s 80;s 90s that teams stayed consistently good after a big season even contenders . The only reason you get coaching changes was when the team was dismal and you fired the coach but today's coaches players leave them high and dry all about the mighty dollar I mean do we really think Washington is going be this bad or is Alabama going save it's ass hauling deboer away when saban left ?? Rutgers had the 4th most difficult schedule in the Big Ten last year, and they were able to go to a bowl game and beat Miami. They had a top 15 defense and the Big Tens leading rusher. This year, they return everyone on defense, their lead rusher, and picked up solid transfers from the portal. This years team is significantly better than last years. Rutgers vs. Washington game is definitely a toss up game. Keep in mind that they play Rutgers in Jersey, and for the past couple of seasons, they've had sold out games.

As an Arizona fan, I hope they lose every game. As much as I hate to say it, it wouldn’t surprise me if they squeaked into a bowl game - Fisch is pretty good at scheming. Probably the most underrated player Fisch took with him from Arizona, was AZ commit Demmond Williams. He’ll be their backup QB this year, but he’s really good. Very Noah Fafita - esque. They’re success is going to revolve around how good their O-line is

I don’t even know if they’ll beat Washington State. Washington State will be very motivated to win since they got left behind. But yeah 5-7 or 6-6 is probably where they’ll end up.
