Facts are facts: .5% of black people that cheer for Colorado are former players. 1.5% of black people that cheer for Colorado are alumni. The other 98% of black people that cheer for Colorado are only there because Deion is black. I’m black and I grew up a HUGE Deion fan and I just don’t get it. Even I can see he’s just there to better himself and maybe his kid(s).

Nebraska FAN here with about a 7 year loosing record streak. I have never liked Colorado so tuning into you bashing them every week is a real pleasure. Also Matt Rhule knows how recruit as is building what I think is a great program.

I’ve seen Deion fans go from saying “we told you he was an amazing coach. 3-0 and he’s gonna finish the season in the playoffs,” to them claiming “he makes a lot of money for the school and that’s really all that matters. He is rich and everyone is just jealous he is a great business man,” is just hilarious. They think him making CU money replaces wins.

Coming from an Auburn fan I was stunned that such a large part of our fanbase wanted Deion! Also, THANK YOU UNCLE LOU!!!! I’ve been saying the same thing about Deion the whole time! I take no joy in saying it, but Uncle lou was right about the Napier hire. I'm a uf fan. As far as what I saw over all this time since the initial Napier hire.........I was the first gator fan to doubt and scrutinize Napier being the right coach for us. I did this in the 4th game(UK) of the FIRST season. The reasons were that the players were still undisciplined and making mistakes that should have enough time to be fixed in the off-season. Also, the offensive play calling was very Muschamp-like. It was predictable.........just as predictable as the time a Vol player said that they knew what plays were coming before it happened because they had the offense figured out. Lastly, game decisions that take us OUT of the chance of winning. I took a TOOOOOOON of flack from UF fans for a long time. Now? 75% of them agree.

FYI, bad coaching with good recruits can yield mediocre results. FSU fans will tell you all about that from their last 15 years. You still got the blinders on.......On the flip hand, good coaching can take "meh" recruiting and turn them into good teams.

Similarly, Alabama's had 5 since 1958 but had 4 in a row from '54-'57. Our last losing season was a 6-7 campaign in 2006 (Bear began in '58, Saban in '07). All that to say this: Florida currently sucks on a level that Georgia and Alabama fans aren't familiar with, but most teams are one great coaching hire away. That "great coaching hire" was not Sunbelt Billy...

Same age as Lou and I’m a Florida fan. He’s still hurt from the trauma Florida put him through. We’re old now and football in general means less. I would not trade it if I could. Imagine being a ga fan in the 90’s middle school and highschool was tuff for Lou. Lou says Florida cannot develop they have the 5th most players in the nfl currently. They develop just fine.
