I’d rather have 2 tudors than 1 Rolex. I can get a GMT and I don’t have to blow the salesman to get them at retail.

A better comparison would be the same model of Tudor with its three link oyster style bracelet compared to the Rolex Submariner no-date model.

I agree! Unfortunately, I didn't have my Submariner with me that day and the AD didn't have the 3-link BB, so this is the best I can do 😶

Rolex still the KING. Love my Tudor but like I said Rolex is Rolex...look again.

@@KCTimeShare True...But, as a wise person that you are, sale your Tudor NOW you are just $5-$6K short from getting the Rolex, the money is WORTH IT. When you get a minute go to your Rolex Boutique try a subby on then compare them both in person. ONLY then you will understand. The ONLY LIMITS are the ones you place before you!!! Rolex holds value....NOT Tudor.

Spending 1/3 of the price for a Submariner look-alike? Get a Seiko for 1/16 of the price

Even on the jubilee the Tudor looks more subdued, rugged, and tool-ish. Nothing against the Sub.

Yes, both have a 41mm case size.

took me a few seconds to work out which was which. both stunning watches, i think the Tudor looks better

I have the Burgandy metas but the Rolex looks far superior to the Black Bay.

It is intentional. Rolex cannot allow Tudor to come close in material and appearance. Otherwise, it will hurt Rolex as Tudor is much lower-priced. After all, who doesn't know Tudor could easily slap on a ceramic bezel? Don't you also realise the lower depth rating of 200m on the Tudor? Again, it is deliberate to distance it from the much more pricey big brother.

Looks great - a fan of the Rolex but I only had $24,000 so I got a nice slightly used car (2018 Regal TourX AWD Wagon ) + 2 really nice Submariner Homage watches: Green Dial Hulk Invicta Pro Diver (Automatic Seiko movt) in 40mm - a dead ringer for a Submariner) Casio MDV106 Duro "Marlin" Dive watch Green Bezel / Black Dial / Stainless Bracelet - Quartz Movement in 44mm so larger than the Rolex 40mm pattern but its sweet easy to read the dial & hands are uber legible. I really do think Rolex has set the standard in excellence & design but has left it for other manufacturers to spread & popularize the "Sport Divers / Multisports" timepiece category: Casio & Seiko & Tudor & Invicta & many many more. Its all good Brothers !

Their strategy is clear. Can't get a submariner? Here you go... this Tudor right here. Same goes for the Rolex GMT-Master2, and the new Tudor BB58 GMT. The list goes on.

@@KCTimeShare Agreed, my Seiko is much better. Tudor don't have dates on the BBs and would never nowadays do a cyclops. Rolex are too bling and with sport watches a bit on the larger side. The movement might be better in both but Seiko Alpinist perfectly good enough. For daily driver, my Seiko preferable in every way. PS I've brought Rolex, Tudor and Omega... definitely happiest with this Alpinist.

I’d take the BB as long as it had either pencil hands or the Mercedes hand. Love how there’s no crown guard. Black is beautiful. 😊
