I view that question about your most expensive watch as rude. If they had asked what your favorite watch is, that would be perfectly fine.

Good scoop, but shame they did not have the full gold Tudor on display. The BB GMT looks good, but it was wise to pass on it. You don’t need another Tudor, just stay with Rolex. I would NOT have answered that question from the sales rep. It is kind of like asking “How rich are you?’ Not a good question to ask.

I think Tudor and Rolex can both be in the same collection as the modern Tudor watches offer a very different vibe to the modern Rolex offerings. But given I have quite a few BB58s already, getting the BB58 GMT as well is probably not the best idea in the world 🤔

I don't think it's a weird question, i think it's just curiousity from the seller, a personal question from one watch lover/collector to another. Maybe a nice way to compare that watch to the ones you showed interest in

There are many other questions he could have gone for “what’s your favourite”, “what’s the most meaningful one”, “what’s was the latest addition to your collection” etc, none of these would be perceived as offensive in my view 🙃

I to would find that question a bit offensive but I also don’t blame them, it’s hard not to associate watches with wealth and that SA is trying to size you up. As for turning down social, the Major brands are still scared of social media and they don’t fully understand how it all comes together or how they can control it, I guess at some level you can’t really control what someone posts so they would rather not participate.

Another fantastic video KC. Disappointing that Tudor did not have all the new models for people to see and try on. Huge mistake. As for the sales assistants comment. Very rude and classless. It's up there with the comment i have heard many times " is it real?" and how much? I put it down to one thing Empty Vessels make the most noise. BTW I love that you took Junior KC to the event. Starting them young 😂😂

Tudor & Rolex salespeople themselves are quite rude and tactless people. And, when they hear the word "Omega", it's like a demon hearing an exorcist's spell. The word "Omega" causes panic among Tudor & Rolex sellers. The guy just immediately realized that he could not sell you a Tudor, because you are the proud owner of an Omega watch, and Omega watches are at a different, higher level of status and finishing than Tudor watches. Omega can be compared to a Rolex, but not Tudor. That's why he couldn't think of anything better to do than get angry at you. PS nice Speedmaster

I agree Omega is closer to the Rolex level than the Tudor level but to be honest, I love all Tudor, Omega and Rolex, as each has their own pros/cons. Was just a bit shocked by the Salesperson's comment, thought it was a bit uncalled for 😶

Very often there is sales staff that has not been trained well. At Watches & Wonders they had rude security.

Classy answer to a classless question, there isn't a downgrade in tudor, they are just different brands. And as far as movements go you could argue that tudor have better movements in now that they are cosc and metas which have better testing and performance than rolex The question stinks of snobbery, my guess is that the person is recently into watches and believes rolex are the best you can get lol

@KC I thought of walking into my A.D in Lebanon and asking when can I get a watch and the sound of me, a paying, hard working consumer begging a brand to buy a watch, kind of sounds ridiculous. I think this new strategy of selling is sort of humiliating towards consumers, especially those loyal to the brand

@@alfieakaronaldog That is what I was trying to say, no one cares if they were made to wait or kiss butt at the AD. If I like something, I will buy it without anyone putting up barriers for me. I am actually a big Tudor fan, I love Tudor just as much as I do Rolex. In general, this AD policy has to change. It is spreading onto all brands now.

Monochrome and BB58 isn’t for me because I own the BB54. I can’t own more on than black bay, because they all look too similar. Besides, if I didn’t own the BB54, I don’t like the gilt on the bezel and colors for the BB58 GMT. And despite the trimmed down refinement, I know better than to buy a 41mm watch. Be that it may, the monochrome is an amazing value and is wildly popular. Seen so many getting one.

Yes, the BlackBay watches are all very similar, it is hard to justify owning so many. I certainly bought too many of the same watch. But had I not have the BB58s already, I would definitely have bought the BB58 GMT. Perhaps now I'll just wait for Tudor to release other variations of the BB58 GMT before I take out my wallet again.

Hi KC, Nice vidéo ! They organize an event for novelties, they don't have it. Yes it is à huge disappointment indeed. Regarding the "indiscrète" question, i don't think i would be offended by this. But i think it is very strange. If i worked there i may say, i see you have a Speedmaster, what à great watch. You are à ma with good taste so i am not surprised to see you in our event 😉🤣. What do you think ? I agree with you, Submariner is better than BB monochrome. I have the Tudor GMT s&g root beer, root beer are the best gmt, so underratted, i don't know why. Last BB 58 "old coke " seems to be cheap. I mean we don't see goldy vintage vibe on the bracelet. It makes the watch cheap like they are saving on gold. A True coke full steel red white black gmt would have been great. Last mention i wanted to add is the Royal collection which is a good watch with integrated bracelet. There are so much unique détails on it. Design is more classy than the f77 from Nivada or the prx. We may compare it to Zenith defy. With a micro adjustment system and more dial options, it would reach perfection. I am looking for a new Rolex OP41 (don't know dial color), Airking or i wait for a pepsi or gmt. I already have a two tones bluesy sub and a two tones DJ41 black dial diamond indexes black dial on jubilee. What option is the best for you ? Regards.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, it is interesting to read it through! As to your next Rolex option, all OP, AK and Pepsi/GMT are great watches. I love the steel GMT the most out of your options but it is a very difficult piece to obtain from an AD, so realistically speaking, it would be between the AK and the OP41. I'd say unless you are into the more unique colours (i.e. Green/Celebration), I would go for the AK, because the sunburst Black/Silver/Blue dial on the OP41 will be kinda similar to your DJ41 and Bluesy dial.

@@KCTimeShare thank you for your answer. I think you are right. AK is the best realistic option. I had one which was SkyDweller green dial but i think it will be very hard to obtain from an AD. Submariner no date was an option but Pelagos range respectively 42 and 39 can be a subsitute from YM 42 titane and Sub no date (maybe Sea Dweller). I will se my AD next week so finger crossed. Ak is the priority. I look forward to see your next video. Thanks again for your answer.
