Swatch store staff are really unfriendly. I guess they hate having to do work. It must have been so chill working there before the colabs 😂
I hardly see anyone walking around with a Swatch bag prior to the collaboration. Now, I see them everywhere!
Never buy a watch someone else does or does not want. Only buy a watch that you want.
Monochrome and BB58 isn’t for me because I own the BB54. I can’t own more on than black bay, because they all look too similar. Besides, if I didn’t own the BB54, I don’t like the gilt on the bezel and colors for the BB58 GMT. And despite the trimmed down refinement, I know better than to buy a 41mm watch. Be that it may, the monochrome is an amazing value and is wildly popular. Seen so many getting one.
I was in Italy and I went Swatch shop. I asked what moonswatch they had, they said that they have couple first set colors and these new ones, which was in show cases, I asked do you have snoopy version, they said no. I didn't want these new ones, cause they are hideous ugly. I was leaving when I saw that one of the salesman bring Snoopy version from back room for other client. I said that I want that also and they sold me one, but so weird that they don't have them in show cases and they denied when I asked do they have that. So weird experience.

I to would find that question a bit offensive but I also don’t blame them, it’s hard not to associate watches with wealth and that SA is trying to size you up. As for turning down social, the Major brands are still scared of social media and they don’t fully understand how it all comes together or how they can control it, I guess at some level you can’t really control what someone posts so they would rather not participate.

@KC I thought of walking into my A.D in Lebanon and asking when can I get a watch and the sound of me, a paying, hard working consumer begging a brand to buy a watch, kind of sounds ridiculous. I think this new strategy of selling is sort of humiliating towards consumers, especially those loyal to the brand
Yes, it is really annoying that watch brands are pushing customers away. The feeling is not very nice to be on the receiving end.

@@alfieakaronaldog That is what I was trying to say, no one cares if they were made to wait or kiss butt at the AD. If I like something, I will buy it without anyone putting up barriers for me. I am actually a big Tudor fan, I love Tudor just as much as I do Rolex. In general, this AD policy has to change. It is spreading onto all brands now.

Actually SPRD61 is a better comparison. Silver instead of gold accents. The true safe queen would be the JDM Made in Japan SBSA011 version! I love my Seikos!

Does the new T-fit clasp wear smaller than the original Steel BB58 clasp? I've read the scissor hinge assembly is very long on the original BB58 and interferes with the articulation of the links so it doesn't conform to smaller wrists very well. It seems Tudor missed the mark with the original BB58 clasp assembly since the watch was designed for smaller wrists. Is the scissor hinge shorter on the updated clasp?
Tudor needs to dump the faux rivets already. 5 link and oyster only please.

My local Tudor AD still has not received the BB58 GMT. I can't tell whether they are lying to me or Tudor is playing the Rolex game😅

Good scoop, but shame they did not have the full gold Tudor on display. The BB GMT looks good, but it was wise to pass on it. You don’t need another Tudor, just stay with Rolex. I would NOT have answered that question from the sales rep. It is kind of like asking “How rich are you?’ Not a good question to ask.
I think Tudor and Rolex can both be in the same collection as the modern Tudor watches offer a very different vibe to the modern Rolex offerings. But given I have quite a few BB58s already, getting the BB58 GMT as well is probably not the best idea in the world 🤔

I don't think it's a weird question, i think it's just curiousity from the seller, a personal question from one watch lover/collector to another. Maybe a nice way to compare that watch to the ones you showed interest in
There are many other questions he could have gone for “what’s your favourite”, “what’s the most meaningful one”, “what’s was the latest addition to your collection” etc, none of these would be perceived as offensive in my view 🙃
Hi KC, Nice vidéo ! They organize an event for novelties, they don't have it. Yes it is à huge disappointment indeed. Regarding the "indiscrète" question, i don't think i would be offended by this. But i think it is very strange. If i worked there i may say, i see you have a Speedmaster, what à great watch. You are à ma with good taste so i am not surprised to see you in our event 😉🤣. What do you think ? I agree with you, Submariner is better than BB monochrome. I have the Tudor GMT s&g root beer, root beer are the best gmt, so underratted, i don't know why. Last BB 58 "old coke " seems to be cheap. I mean we don't see goldy vintage vibe on the bracelet. It makes the watch cheap like they are saving on gold. A True coke full steel red white black gmt would have been great. Last mention i wanted to add is the Royal collection which is a good watch with integrated bracelet. There are so much unique détails on it. Design is more classy than the f77 from Nivada or the prx. We may compare it to Zenith defy. With a micro adjustment system and more dial options, it would reach perfection. I am looking for a new Rolex OP41 (don't know dial color), Airking or i wait for a pepsi or gmt. I already have a two tones bluesy sub and a two tones DJ41 black dial diamond indexes black dial on jubilee. What option is the best for you ? Regards.

@@KCTimeShare yes the little sunburst and glossy bits took away from the brushed titanium theme from the larger version. At this point TUDOR has made too many watches and they are about to turn into Seiko. Way too many choices
Great event there barring the not so smart question fr the sales rep. Been following your vlog and I don’t think a Rolex owner such as yourself will downgrade to Tudor for the GMT or divers
I'm glad it wasn't just me who thought the question was inappropriate. Despite having some Rolex watches, I do like the vintage size/vibe that Tudor offers, and the BB58 GMT offers really good value for money to be honest 😎
Classy answer to a classless question, there isn't a downgrade in tudor, they are just different brands. And as far as movements go you could argue that tudor have better movements in now that they are cosc and metas which have better testing and performance than rolex The question stinks of snobbery, my guess is that the person is recently into watches and believes rolex are the best you can get lol
Another fantastic video KC. Disappointing that Tudor did not have all the new models for people to see and try on. Huge mistake. As for the sales assistants comment. Very rude and classless. It's up there with the comment i have heard many times " is it real?" and how much? I put it down to one thing Empty Vessels make the most noise. BTW I love that you took Junior KC to the event. Starting them young 😂😂

@@Andy-ys8sj Not for purchasing, but I was interested in taking a look at it, as this is the first time Tudor introduced a full gold bracelet, I think it is something worth trying on.
A couple of Rolex fell in my lap and I realized that I couldn’t comfortably afford it & done it anyway.
I guess you will still be better off if you ended up selling the pieces, so it is okay? 😇
