These trails look amazing

I went GasGas in 2022 because I didn’t want a carb anymore. Was hoping Sherco would go FI this year. I will revisit them when they do.

I've been holding out with my 2021 model for the change to EFI. Looks like I'll be on one next release. I'll be sure to do a video 👌

Thanks for the video. Yah tough call now. Was gonna refresh the 4T this year and the 300 does have the all new engine but idk if I want the all new bike and keep the same frame on both my 2T and 4T I may wish to wait until 2025 and refresth both 2T and 4T then

I beg sherco to not go fuel injected. that is half the reason that I got a sherco rather than the other options.

Each to their own I guess, however nearly every second post on any Sherco page is a question on how to 'fix my fouled spark plugs', or 'what jetting should I use for xyz', or 'my engine seems dull, how do I make it snap'... People say 'leave the carb on them so they can tune it' but then none of them know how to tune the carb. EFI is self managed, self adjusting and reliable when implemented properly. (not talking about one bike only here, but EFI as a system for all vehicles). Yes, the KTM group made a big mess with their system, but every car since the late 80s has EFI and it just works 👍 I'll be buying the 300SEF 4 stroke if the 25 2 stroke is not EFI. 🙂👍 They won't legally be able to comply with the Euro 5+ emission laws with a carb. It is possible that Sherco could have a carb off road only bike and an EFI bike for places like Australia where we need to BE road registered for use on public lands. (similar to TM)...

I believe carburetor is still actual because of its simplicity and reliability (don't think TBI motorcycles gain much more in terms of perfomance). The amount of changes may be enough (except of clutch)

A carburettor may be 'simple' in theory, however most people still can't tune one or know what to change if they aren't running well. There is much to be gained by EFI. Self correcting mixtures at all temperatures and altitudes. No need to adjust jetting. Better fuel range and smoother running. These systems can still be tuned also, but you shouldn't need to 👍

@@antonsydorenko7572 Still not great enough control over fuel delivery to meet real world emission laws around the world. The items needed to make the current 2T bikes EFI will cost the manufacturer less than a Smart carb. Also, these parts are readily available from various suppliers. There's no way Smart carb could gear up to supply a 10,000+ bike model year run for a manufacturer. No disadvantage to using the ECU already running the spark and power valve to also turn on a fuel pump and run the injector.

I’m interested to see how that new 300sef engine goes I can’t fault the 23 model

By accounts from the Racing team guys, it's got more power everywhere and is smaller and lighter. It should be a great engine, especially once the all new frame arrives as well later on. 👍
