I think using a piece of old tape measure as the closure for your kindle case would be cool. I see people use that in sewing. Seems like you could put it in before folding and seaming the top piece. Love the case and plan to make one for myself!

Hi Leslie! Your cardigan looks amazing and that color really complements you🥰 So fun that you're making a pattern! I applied for the test knit and I hope I get chosen 'cause it would be my first time test knitting and I just had the best idea for it: a Eras Tour themed e reader case😍 (I do understand that you don't need a whole nuch of testers and that there will probably be way more than what you can realistically choose btw, so it's absolutely fine if I don't make it, there will be others testknits for sure!)

Toggle closures are trendy right now. Maybe a version with a loop and toggle would work, too?

The Kindle case is really cool. It would be interesting to see if you could change the dimensions and make it into a book sleeve instead.

Ooo I definitely think a knit book sleeve would be so cool for a hardcover!

I made an iPod case a few years ago and used a large decorative button on the top front, with a cord that folds across the top opening and goes around the button. I also made a cord for a handle so I can carry it around. I can’t attach a photo here in the comments so I also sent you an email. Just another idea you might consider. I love your podcast. And your new KAL Cardigan is so pretty I just want to drop everything and make one!

not sure if this would be possible, but for the kindle sock you could also do a magnetic closure that could be sewn inside the folded "cuff" so it was invisible? i love the colour.

Good morning Leslie, LOVE your KAL sweater!!!! The colorway is absolutely scrumptious!!! I actually have a similiar colorway in fingering I bought for the Cumulus Tee which I will increase the sleeves to 3/4 length rather than the short sleeve (flattering issues with flabby arms) but issues like that compel us to tiptoe out of our comfort zones in knitting right? I was also interested to hear your experience with 1st brioche knitting with not too many stitches and it was a good experience for you. I've never done brioche before so when I do try it, I will take the same approach as you did! Also love your light blue tee- the icy color is so pretty. I haven't knit in that color b4- I tend to pick denim or navy blue. Guess I need to switch it up to that icy color because I liked it so much!
