I Skip the clay and get the paint wash going in the smaller hand held pump sprayer. This year was the most leaf drop I’ve had in my avocado grove. Clay is great on the fruit later in summer cause it washes off easily so the fruit can be sold and appear beautiful when harvest comes but the wood and branches need more permanent protection. Looking good over at your ranch ✅🥑🌳

My young trees are setting best ever but I've only had a few off one tree before. I'm not seeing excessive heavy sets and no significant foliage loss. Wurz from Golden Gate has a few for 1st time, could have more than I realize as it's too dense to see into. About half of my 10 biggest avos have tiny fruit, most for 1st time. (Chico)

Fortunately my in ground trees, mentioned above, don't need much or any paint given foliage, others in pots are due for paint.
