I don't think they grow true to seed but I'd love to try planting the seeds of the various varieties you've got too😊

I live in Alameda and would like to try and grow one. Do you sell them? BTW, I bought a Chilean wine palm from you many years ago at your Pt. Richmond Nursery.

My parents have been growing these for twenty years in Walnut Creek but the tree never gets above 12 ft. Is there a dwarf variety, or are they just underwatering? Tons of flowers and little fruit. They definitely underwatered last summer and defoliated the entire tree, which is finally recovering. Beaumont macadamia next to it seems like a much larger and more vigorous tree, but same crop problem... Loaded with flowers and bees every year, nuts set, but they mostly drop over the summer.

Stan TheObserver I think you're right. Hopefully, this rainy season helps root growth.

Where are you located? And what would be a fair price per seed for you and how many do you need? I normally don’t do this, but I could consider. Thanks.
