Man I really love Dougs different accents/ voices. There is of course this opulent voice which tells the “plebians“ to get out of the way. Then there’s the tough truck guy which he makes obvious with all the arm movement. And of course who could forget the Porsche enthusiast who keeps going on about their spec and what pattern they have on their seatbelts and which color their headlight washer caps are. Just the best in the game!

I'm glad you mentioned that the front camera isn't centered, so I went with a 2002 Honda Civic instead. Thanks for saving me $200k 😎

Only the s class and gls and this have the Maybach badge They don't just slap some logos they take an already very luxurious e class for example and extend its wheel base and add many luxury finishes amenities and features Non Maybach version doesn't have anywhere near as much leg room or space or features or quality finishes or ride quality or sound insulation etc

You can tell from the video the sound deadening is immaculate

Amazing how close this is to our EQS 580. We don’t have auto closing doors, rear massaging seats, rear screens, etc. But we love the 4-level ambient lighting, outstanding rear wheel steering, hyper screen, fragrance dispenser, ionizing air cleaner, massaging front seats, pillows front & rear, ultra smooth / quiet ride, and near 400 mile range. Tesla needs to put some of these luxury features in the model S.

This is the best Nissan Murano I’ve ever seen!

The washer fluid reminds me that I need to do laundry.

It does look extremely tacky. Since they started it the design gives off "spoiled teen girl" vibes as a car that some LA parents would buy for their daughter who has never been told no once in her life because she graduated high school. There is nothing "upscale" or "classy" about the screens and lights. It's very tacky. The seats are nice! And I'm sure the ride is pretty good, but it ends there.

The funnier part to me is the Chrysler 300 for drivers has individual heated or cooled cup holders. So I can have a hot drink in one, and cold in the other. Not jn the Mercedes-Benz Maybach eqs of course, only hot or only cooled

Hi Doug, nice one!! I think that the fact that this car is so dull looking, that is exactly the goal of Mercedes Benz. It is very expensive, luxurious and with more equipment even than Rolls, or Bentley, etc and sure as hell is as quiet as those, so on top of that, and obviously this is what dudes like footballers or that sort of bunch would hate, nobody will pay any attention to your vehicle. You, as you said sometimes glide over the road effortlessly in complete silence or enjoying the incredible Burmester Audio System totally insulated from the outside world and in a hugely understated fashion. And that, for many people discrete and with good taste will be the main reason to purchase this particular kind of vehicle, which I think is almost perfect.

How many miles on a full charge?

Had an EQS SUV as loaner for 3 weeks. The material and build quality are far below the price it asked, and all the screens are just making the car feels cheap. An EQS interior feels like low end GLE or GLC for 2x more of the price.

Can't wait for yuri and jakub to count all those maybach logos

This is one of the few time when I'll keep the chrome. It also needs the two tone paint to complete the Maybach look.

My 2008 vw golf has the same trunk latch system.

Uff, 200k+ for effectively 1 cup holder in the back, but 2 buttons 3 inches from each other to open the same thing and a bunch of pillows. No fridge either

It doesn’t photograph well, but in person it looks unique. The price is insane for what is essentially a disposable car. No way anyone with enough money to afford a new EV will want this in ten years.

It's an electric skateboard under a jellybean shaped casing with tablets slapped across the inside. Even with dougs MB apologist position this thing is horrendous. Who gets this over a bentayga I do not know.
