First Video i am watching from you. I think this is the perfection of car reviews. I don't watch car videos often but that's the first time i see something like that. Not much of a show off with short cinemated clips, instead showing how the car performs in the daily life. Kinda of a Vlog Style but also showing functions of the car etc. Really amazing. Good job.

One of the strangest days of my life, I summoned Uber Comfort and ended up with basically what’s seen here, in my case a 2019 model, taking me to work for $15 plus tip. I exited that vehicle with regret.

New to your channel, and really appreciate the candidness from a few of the comments that you have made so far, especially about putting car seats in and having to take them out 3:00 . My wife and I are working hard to pay off our debt and have spent a lot of time putting certain vehicles up on our vision board and taking them down because we’ve been able to watch videos like this that provide a very realistic touch so we feel like we have a lot more focusby being able to vicariously experience luxury vehicles like this through the lens of others.

Actually, $245K is not THAT bad when you consider the type of car you get compared to the competition. And I am sure Mercedes is offering discounts too on these cars unless the V12 is a customer order only car. MBUSA delivered the S580 to me for a week and it was incredible drive experience! Not quite comparable to the S680 but close. Definitely the best luxury Mercedes sedan second to the Maybach. Love this review!

What a beast... Truly one of the best ultra luxury cars out there

When I lived in the Virginia / DC area, I saw this car for the first time, and when I returned home from work I called the company to inquire about this vehicle. About a week later, I received the brochure all about this gorgeous sedan. I fell in love and wanted to buy it right then and there. Then I called to get the price for the sedan that had the bells and whistles I wanted. They even offered to drop it off so I could drive it around for the weekend. They had no idea that I was in my late 20s (at the time) and could not afford it. I guess I should have taken them up on their offer to let me have it for the weekend to test out.

You missed the self parking assist in that lot and all the massage etc are voice activated by just saying “hey Mercedes” 😉👍🏽

I'm surprised the Costco parking space are soo small.. The Costco spaces where i live has spaces in between soo the car beside you can't hit your car. Great video. of the Maybach. She should be in the back and you should be driving.

I love how it has a boost by gear system. It seems reserved at lower speeds as it’s not much faster/as fast as a S500 to 60, yet at higher speeds it’s significantly quicker. Great video!!

2:39 NEVER do that, if it drops, rolls down and blocks your braking pedal, you have a big problem. I had that once with a big plastic water bottle, luckily nothing happened

Fun fact, I’ll be able to get my hands on one of these next month, and it’ll be the only Maybach with factory red interior in the US. A true 1/1 😅

The car being large aside - the Lincoln Town Car was (per Google) just a tiny bit bigger - 215.3 inches for the S680 vs 215.4 inches for the Town Car. If the Yank Tank didn't scare ya, then you'll likely find the S680 to be quite livable.

Probably the closest thing to a palace on wheels. I learned a lot from this video about the features, performance, and comfort of this ultra-luxury sedan. The narrator did a great job of demonstrating the daily tasks and challenges of owning such a vehicle, as well as the perks and pleasures of being chauffeured in the back seat. Did you know that the Maybach name has a long and rich history that dates back to 1909, when Wilhelm Maybach founded his own company after working as a chief engineer for Daimler? He designed and built some of the most sophisticated and elegant cars of his time, as well as engines for zeppelins and airplanes. His son, Karl Maybach, continued his legacy and produced luxury cars until 1940, when the company switched to making engines for tanks and submarines during World War II. After the war, the Maybach brand was revived by Daimler-Benz in 1997, and merged with Mercedes-Benz in 2015. Another interesting thing to note is that the Maybach S680 is not the most expensive or exclusive model in the Maybach lineup. That honor goes to the Maybach S650 Pullman, which is a limousine version of the S-Class that costs over $2 million and has a 6.5-meter length, a 4-meter wheelbase, and a partition wall between the driver and the passengers. I wonder how the narrator would feel if he had to live with the Pullman instead of the S680. Maybe he would need a bigger driveway, a smaller ego, and a more generous budget. Or maybe he would just enjoy the extra legroom, the champagne flutes, and the digital rearview mirror. Either way, I’m sure he would have a lot of fun making videos about it.
