@@johnreed5056 Hyundai and KIA fanboys are a bit delusional, as you can see. What’s unique about this vehicle’s styling? They literally got it from other manufacturers. What other KIA has thin vertical headlights and DRLs like this with thin vertically styled taillights (other than new Telluride’s Cadillac esque rear lighting)? It’s obvious Hyundai and KIA were copying Mercedes heavily a few years ago in regard to the interiors, and have been inspired by Cadillac on the exteriors. This just looks like it wants to be a Cadillac EV or Volvo EV so badly, it honestly looks out of place amongst the Hyundai/KIA lineup. But those lineups aren’t very cohesive anyway. They literally put out a mosh-pit of things that’s already on the road elsewhere and hope people learn to love it. 🥴

Kia and Hyundai change and update their designs really fast, almost every 2 or 3 years.

Definitely an impressive design and styling for an EV. Looks practical and futuristic. The wheel design kinda stands out.

I’m intrigued … i like the mix of buttons and touch …can’t wait for the specs and pricing

I hope there'll be Kia EV9 police SUVs. Robocop will like to drive them. I'm a fan of sci fi and futuristic technology stuff.

I wonder which vehicle has better room for adults in third row including leg room: EV SUV from Kia or from Rivian. I cannot wait until a proper American full sized SUV akin Suburban will be launched.

I own an R1S and pretty happy about all storage and room for passengers. Rivian is almost 10” longer than this and 3rd row has decent legroom and plenty of headroom (no slopey roof).

​@nev co I'm 6' 2" and can sit comfortably in the 3rd row. The center row need to inch forward a couple inches, but the 3rd row is stadium seating so it's a little higher than the 2nd row which make me feel less cramped. The glass roof in the 3rd row also gives more head room. Finally, 3rd row passengers get their own air vent, storage cubby and USB C plug.

I’m not sure about the “Battlestar Galactica Cylon” styling that is like the Kona EV. I do love the Ionic 6 after it grew on me!

Very good review. I went out to a Kia dealer several weeks ago, "to just look at EV9 GT." I ended up leaving my 2017 Tesla MX 100D at the Kia dealer and driving home in my new EV9 GT, Ocean Blue with brown/black 6-seater interior, gorgeous. I never thought I would own a Kia. So warning to all, if you go and test drive the new EV9 you should be prepared to bring it home.

This is what the cyber truck should have looked! Eyeballs are drawn to this SUV.

Kia/Hyundai/Genesis must build their own supercharger network !

You complete skipped over the interior configurations! Does the back of the passenger seat recline all the way back? Do any of the rear seats fold out-of-the-way? Do any of the seats in the rear come completely out in linear feet? What’s the longest size thing I can haul in here?

Looks great. Though surprised yall didn't have the most crucial 3 facts: range, price, fast charging speed. A bunch of the other channels seem to have those numbers. Was this video made last week or something?

It's all just speculation right now. Nothing official yet. Kia is supposed to announce that tomorrow, March 15.

No rear wiper without the flair out that the EV6 has isn't going to work well. It will be similar to what would occur with the Ioniq 5.

This is nice, what I want is a Compact SUV size. The Ioniq 5 and EV6 are too small - low ride height and low ceilings, like bloated hatchbacks. This EV9 is now three row and goes up a couple of steps. The most popular car segment in America is the Compact SUV: they need to produce EVs the size of the Tucson or Sportage.

I love that Kia EV9. I love the sci fi and futuristic technology stuff. I'll like to be like a person in the sci fi movies like in Total Recall, Blade Runner, Cyberpunk, Demolition Man, Robocop, and Terminator. I want no more gas powered stuff and old fashioned way stuff. The old fashioned way stuff should become the things in the past. There should time for me and everybody to move on.

Another game changer for KIA.

Considering that this channel had a first look at Volvo's EX90 three months ago, it's not quite right to say the EV6 will be "first in" to give Americans an "electric, three-row option". Moreover, deliveries of the EX90 are expected to being early in 2024.

I'm going out on a limb and saying that you're out 😬 400 miles is crazy; once you have an EV for a while you'll likely see that you need far less than you think.

interior is ok but nothing about that is gorgeous

I own a niro ev 2019 and i know kia does`nt resolve their bugs. I bet the line assist will wave from right to left and the 12V battery will be too small.

from the back it looks like any volvo

A few too many things are described as, "gorgeous", including the headlights, which are - "gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous" lol. I wouldn't say anything about this beast is beautiful, but it is interesting and modern. It is better to look at than the typical breadbox Tahoe or Expedition. Hey, its a gigantic people mover, which is very popular in N.America. Every manufacturer, including Hyundai Group, seems hellbent on pumping out new gas models in this segment. Thankfully, Hyundai is addressing this market with a BEV, Perhaps a full-sized pickup truck on this stretched platform could make it profitable. We'll have to see if they sell it in numbers large enough to make a dent.

That pricing will probably be high. 60k for a 300 plus range.

Make a 2 row gas version of this car

The big question is does it have a rear wiper! If not I'm out

In countries like uae still ev6 is not launched. They don’t promote affordable ev

Please stop with the gloss black finish on the exterior. They have this on my 2023 Sportage and it just scratches so easily.

Tata motors sale will increase with launch of Rs 25 to 30 lakhs "Sierra ev" by May 2025.
