I recommend trying first the basic steps before you proceed to option 6 and 7. Found some forum that other options really work but depending on your pc build, structure and software. If you want to ask which option worked for me? that will be Option 7.

yup. You are right. I was impatient and directly tried option 7 based on comments. And that didn't worked for me. Please don't do what i did. so i sincerely followed above options 1-by-1 and OPTION 6 worked for me!!!

@@rexus1769 you have to check if new 250mb partition is created in method 6 and merger it with old recorv partion, then after that you choose it as new partition and do rest instruction, then run power shell.

I hardly ever post comments but I had to in this case. I tried numerous other options on numerous other videos to correct this issue and nothing worked. Luckily I gave it one more shot and found this video, if this didn't work I was going to reformat my PC. The first 5 suggestions I had already done, #6 was the key. Take your time and follow the directions EXACTLY making sure to spell every thing correctly. I've saved this video for the future to pass on to others if need be. You saved me a very frustrating day of reinstalling EVERY THING on my PC!!! THANK YOU!!!!

Option 7 worked perfectly and easy, thank you (I'd recommend anyone to do option 7 first before 6, as 6 is a little bit more complex)

Thanks a lot! Option 6 worked for me. I’ve been having headaches with this update since it came out and researching solutions always told me to wait for Microsoft to release an update that would fix the error. Some time has passed, some updates have come and this error was still displayed so I decided to look for ways to solve it without having to wait so long. You helped a lot, thank you again.

Both option 6 and 7 didnt work for me and i dont know why i followed all the steps should i repeat it until it works or what should i do? Edit: I have on both disks an Asterisk on gpt

Thank you, your help guided me to the solution. Apparently KB5034441 buggy requires Windows RE to boot when disabled (or small partition) then this KB will fail. A common cause of Win10 is BitLocker and Windows RE being automatically disabled. Unfortunately, the only solution here is to decrypt the disk during installation and enable RE `reagentc /enable`. Microsoft should be ashamed of itself KB5034441 ;)

Resize Partition in CMD works for me. I was at windows10 from MBR, converted to GPT

6th option worked for me aswell. But my question is, my recovery was already 500 mb ! now i have added extra 250mb making it 750 mb. Almost 1GB. Does it need us to do these steps to fix as it is a bug or do we need 750 mb size for this update

i only have 230gb for primary partition and when i try shrink desired=250 minimum=250 it said size is too big and i tried shrink 200 also same result, what do i do?

Hello, huge thanks for help, your and another video with method 6 and 7 worked, also I could finally install amd drivers without chipstet error. But I had to edit method 6, because I have 2 recovery partitions, and following videos it dont worked. Method 6 should work if your recovery partiton is on the right side and last of the disc. Mine was on the start and middle. Overall this happend after cpu upgrade. So my method is: Open windows device manager, download and open minitool partition wizard free version. Start method 6 and after shrink from disc c "250mb", pause it, now in windows manager you should see that new partiton showed up In minitool try to move this new partion next to recovery partiton you will choose later/earlier. Now I dont remember If I formatted in minitool recover partiton, to merger with this 250mb new partion After they connected, windows should show them as recover par with bigger size In cmd, you may have to reload disk/part list and choose this new merged partition to make it as new recovery and rest you follow as in video. Then only this dont worked yet, because you increased part size but after this you have to run power shell script. This worked for me I could install windows update and amd drivers. Fuq MS for pushing broken update and dont fixing it Im seeing for some it dont work - I suggest check if cutted new disc from C: is merged with recovery partition - you have to do it in another program before doing rest steps in method 6
