Why do you need to extend the partition if the update is tied to having your disk bitlockered, thus not applicable if your drive isn't bitlockered?

That's why you have the second option, just hide the update if you don't need it.

@@n0nyabznss Yes you can do that, delete softwaredistribution folder files, then disable update to prevent windows from fetching them again. But what about other important updates, you'll be blocking them too. The show and hide tool is just a small portable app to hide any specific update you want, much easier than running powershell scripts which is also an alternative, if you really don't want a special software to do it.
