Tremor is the off-road utility most people need. Raptor is the offroader most people want.

And most people don’t really need the Tremor either if we’re being honest. No complaints from me though… A life worth living is always wants over needs. Even though wisdom suggests having our needs addressed first!

Thanks for posting this video. I've got a 23 Tremor 402A package, which is fantastic, and just got a 24 Raptor 801A (35" tires) package, which I absolutely love! Both awesome trucks. But if you actually compare pricing on an identical build between the 24 Tremor and Raptor, MSRP is about $79K for the Tremor, and $81K for the Raptor. For $2K more, I say Raptor all day, assuming you can get the Raptor at sticker. That said, you may be able to get the Tremor under sticker, which changes things a bit. Can't go wrong with either truck.

I’m more of a Tremor guy. Great all around truck. I would consider buying one if they weren’t so expensive. Don’t get me wrong I can buy one… But I feel like that is being financially irresponsible when there are more affordable options with the same features…

Congratulations on having both. What did I say that doesn’t make sense? Correct me if I’m wrong but the Tremor makes a better tow vehicle than a Raptor. That’s why I said the Tremor would be a better all around truck. But you are correct that I have never owned either or a F150 for that matter.

I like the Tremor quite a bit & was going to go that route, but ultimately wanted a “turnkey” solution like the Raptor 37 (or even a Chevy ZR2). I knew that the Tremor would put me back on the path to an aftermarket lift & tires setup. Also, the Recaro seats in the Raptor 37 + front fascia styling all combined to sell me on the truck.

Raptor all the way, it has that aggressive look. Kills me everytime ❤

I prefer the look of the Tremor package but I really like the suspension on the Raptor. Put that suspension on the Tremor Lariat and it's the perfect truck for me.

Last I heard, Tremor did not come with Lariat option. It has a Lariat price with XLT level build. Raptors are silly high expensive with dealer markups. I think the Lariat with the FX4 package is ideal.

My 402 Tremor has a torsen. It s a shame with the Raptor they don't offer the torsen

I work at big facility where I drive around the back farm area. I'm a minute man so I haul ass through there with my 18 Raptor. Pot Holes and uneven terrain to get to where I work. Its so smooth hitting them at higher speeds. Its something I do daily so I appreciate the Raptor over a normal truck suspension. If I had a normal truck which I had an STX b4 that was a rough ride. If you don't tow and you don't want to totally break the bank just try to find a clean nice used Raptor you won't regret it.

Obviously the Raptor is better but the Tremor is a very capable off-road package.

Better for what? It’s not better in slow off road conditions. The tremor is. The raptor is designed for Baja racing and going over rolling bumps fast. Outside that the tremor is better in every regard. It can tow 11,000 lbs Raptor 8000. The tremor can handle more payload. Sure aesthetic wise the Raptor looks cooler. Sounds better but in real world truck conditions the Tremor is a better truck by every standard . The tremor has the Raptor transfer case . I know “adults “ who bought the Raptor and then once they got into doing truck things traded in the Raptor on a tremor

So the 402A tremor have the updated lights *like* the raptor without the amber? On Ford's site, you can build one with the 402a package and only the bumper looks like its different. The lights are same. Hmm.

Yea , I’m surprised Ben mentioned that in this video . Not sure where he got that information from . I’ve read other comments on other KZread channels mentioning that they have in fact seen the new 2024 tremor with the Lariot led lights but no pictures or videos so far 🤷‍♂️ . I don’t dislike this tremor interaction but for the money there asking , we should have the same LED option that the Lariot and up get and last years 2023 model had . It’s confusing because to me this is a downgrade from last years model .

Neither are worth it for me. I like the utility of the standard bed, which I'd happily give up a bit of off-roadability of these vehicles for the extra cargo capacity. I really do like the Tremor though, but wish Ford would offer it as a Lariat package, along with the option of the standard bed.

I bet this guy's channel would explode if his videos were ever more exciting than had I just walked around the dealership and looked at the truck myself.

I have a 23 402a 3.5L Tremor. Love that truck. More comfortable thank my 2018 Platinum. Noticeable suspension upgrade vs the FX4. The truck is very quick with a lot of torque. Exhaust sounds pretty good too. Had it in the mountains and it handled the snow fine. Love the Torsion. I don’t think you will find a Raptor at sticker in Texas. At least not when I bought my Tremor. The price difference is quite a bit between the 2 trucks. Overall, it’s the best truck I’ve owned and so capable.

I like the Tremor package & it’s decent value for a lot of off-road goodies. Hopefully ford brings this package to the new Ranger in years to come.

Ford needs a full redesign on the f150. That tremor grill looks ridiculous. Looks like ford is now just drawing squiggly lines up for a grill and calling it a “face lift”

After owning 2 Raptors, they are worth it if you use them as intended. I miss my 22 model after hitting a 1 ton Ram at 75 mph. He ran a stop sign and I was running speed limit.

You’re lucky to be alive in an accident at that speed. In what state is it legal to go through an intersection at 75mph? Maybe I’ve been slowing down at intersections for no reason. 😉

@gkcamden9050 The accident was in Texas, I'm hoping they do more to make the intersection more noticeable.

Both are nice but both are also overpriced, IMO. No matter what you tack on to them they are still $40K trucks at heart.

If only they would lower the prices so people with a brain could afford to buy them.

I'd rather have the Tremor between these two, more practical and I like the front end.

If you truly want to build a highspeed offroad truck, do a raptor conversion with lesser trim. There are many companies who make the larger coil buckets and better suspension kits. For what you'll pay for a new truck is what you can spend on something used plus a full mid travel kit with better shocks.

I think that Ford distorted the shape of the new Tremor because it feared for the sales of the Raptor

There were some details you skipped which I felt were important such as the electrical connections in the trunk, or the center console whether they had the working folding table. The devil in the details my friend.

My choice is a Ford raptor you can have fun with it in town or off road truck

It's not just my physique i enjoy flexing but also my truck. Raptor baby!!!

In Canada they are more like $30,000, difference, that's probably why my dealership has three 2023 at "discount", I would compare the Ranger Raptor to the Tremor because their prices are about the same, even my Lariat would be in the same range.
