It was the person that installed the kicker system. They didn't check there work. That's why when I get a oil change I check under the hood before I leave. And underneath when I get home.

The Kicker systems and painted wheel well liners are installed by the dealerships… It wasn’t shipped like that, you should inform the dealership!!!

Laura GMC moves such huge volumes, minor mistakes are bound to happen.

Your dealership installed kicker system...lol On my delivery I made sure I was there to look over truck and no washing. So far so good truck is awesome I went Titanium Rush with 8ft

I'll never work on one of these. Surely though, I did want to see how they set it all up in the tailgate. Thanks for taking the time to make it. Glad they had the correct connections made for the speaker, after all this hassle. I'm the same way though, I want to see for myself what they skimped out on; before I take it back to the dealer to assess it for me

The speakers / audio system and step lights wil be a dealership install. None of it installed at the factory.

If music sounds thin or weak, you can try swapping the two wires on ONE speaker so that the phase is flipped. Test music again and if it sounds better, leave it. If it sounds worse, swap it back.

It wasn’t the assembly plant. The kicker system is dealership installed. It was your dealership that forgot to hook it up.

Nothing that a week or two at the dealership couldn’t resolve!

As for the scratch on your truck, was that noted at delivery of your new truck? They should have to fix it. When my 2022 f350 was delivered with a gouge in the rear bumper, the dealership body shop repainted it, free of charge. Likely a full right side bed respray.

Yes, they're taking care of it. I chose to take the truck that day and get it repaired later.

would have been a bigger hassle to have dealer do the speaker. They probably would have broken something else in the process. I'm waiting on my 2024 AT4 to arrive. Next week! That's a bummer about the scratch.

Much bigger deal to have the dealer fix it, it was a 5 min. fix. I wanted to see what was inside anyways. Enjoy your truck!

years ago sister ordered new monte carlo with vortec car was to be black & double silver race stripes over the top many months later they called "it's here" car was silver with black stripes traded it after 1 month

I agree that it's an easy fix, everything is an easy fix, but quality control is the key here. No wonder the Japanese are so far ahead of us. It is also not surprising that they treat Demming like a god in Japan.
